Gameplay
 
The base Game of Railway Empire is set in the United States between 1830 and 1930. The player may construct a vast network of railway lines, purchase a variety of locomotives to service cities and industries and expand cities through hiring railway staff for both office and train operations roles, each with unique benefits and personality types.
