Hard Reset Extended Edition (Global) (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

The action-packed single-player shooter video game Hard Reset is all set in a Cyberpunk city and emphasises over-the-top destruction and gives you a large variety of weapons to eleminate the enemies.

Various stages of the game contain secret areas containing hidden pickups such as health and ammunition.

Major Fletcher, an Army combat veteran and member of the CLN, gets drawn into a fight between two of humanity's worst foes in the last human city of Bezoar. He will come to realise that nothing is as it seems.

Hard Reset is certain to shake up the shooter scene with its outrageous destruction, tonnes of adversaries, great weapon variety, and a gorgeously imagined cyberpunk backdrop.

Hard Reset's gameplay is simpler than most modern first-person shooters because it is based on video games like Quake and Unreal. There are secret locations with pickups like health and ammunition concealed throughout the various stages. The settings are created similarly; interspersed around the levels are explosive barrels and other vending machines with electroshock anti-vandalism protections that, when shot at, cause splash damage. The player can exploit these objects by enticing foes close to them. One of the main complaints is that there is no multiplayer option in the game.

Hard Reset only has two weapons, the CLN Modular Assault Rifle and the EEF-21 Plasma Rifle, in contrast to most classic first-person shooters, which offer a wide selection of firearms and throwable weapons that can be kept in an inventory resembling a magic satchel.

Plot

The world vanished as we knew it. Bezoar is the last closed city, and humanity is reaching its extinction. The machines in charge of broad swaths of what became known as the "Barrens" are at war with mankind. The network known as "The Sanctuary," which contains billions of digitalised human thoughts, is being sought after and controlled by machines. Maj. Fletcher, our hero, is a member of CLN, a corporate military squad created to defend the metropolis. The fortifications of Bezoar are continuously under attack by machines. When Bezoar's defences are violated, Fletcher intervenes.

It was first released as a part of the boxed Hard Reset re-release called Hard Reset: Extended Edition.
