ARE YOU ABLE TO FACE YOUR DESTINY WITH COURAGE?
A group of unwitting strangers discover that they have been labelled enemies of the state as a crisis threatens to spiral out of control and bring the floating world of Cocoon to anarchy. They have no choice but to flee for their lives as the terrified populace yells for their blood, and the military is only too eager to comply. Join them in their frantic attempt to confront the powers dictating their future and avert countless tragedies.
Final Fantasy XIII represents the next phase in Game growth with its unforgettable plot, battle system that combines action and strategy, cutting-edge graphics, and breathtaking cinematic moments.
Final Fantasy XIII has been enhanced on the PC, supporting full screen and operating at 60 frames per second.
A role-playing video Game, Final Fantasy XIII, was created and released by Square Enix for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the Microsoft Windows platform. It is the thirteenth instalment in the primary Final Fantasy series and was released in Japan in December 2009 and internationally in March 2010. Fast-paced combat, a new "Crystarium" system for the series that decides which character skills are developed, and a customizable "Paradigm" system that determines which character abilities are used by the characters are all Game features. Airships, Chocobos, and summoned monsters are only a few of the series' earlier instalments in Final Fantasy XIII.
The Game is set in the made-up floating world of Cocoon, whose government, the Sanctum, has ordered the extermination of any citizens who may have come into touch with Pulse, the dreaded world below. To free her sister, who has been labelled as an unwitting servant to a god-like being from Pulse, the former soldier Lightning starts her war against the government, making her a foe of Cocoon. A group of companions soon join Lightning, and when they do, they all acquire the same Pulse creature's mark. They organize an uprising against the Sanctum as they search for their given assignment and see if they can finish it without turning into crystals or monsters.
Gameplay:
To interact with characters, items, and adversaries throughout the Game, the player directly controls the on-screen character from a third-person perspective. The user can rotate the camera around the characters to have a full 360° view the surroundings. Unlike previous Final Fantasy games, which featured caricatures of the protagonists wandering around miniature landscapes, the world in Final Fantasy XIII is displayed to scale relative to the individuals who inhabit it. Instead, each place is proportionally depicted. Walking or riding a Chocobo lets the player move around the globe. Players can use save stations from upgrading their weaponry and buying stuff from retail networks while saving their Game to a hard drive.
A bestiary and other incidental details about the Final Fantasy XIII setting are provided in an in-game datalog. There is also an "Easy" mode selection in the Final Fantasy XIII Ultimate Hits International Game, which was made available in Japan.
