Product description

Dead Space (PC) - EA Play - Digital Code

Dead Space is an action horror Game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts in 2008. It is the first Game of the Dead Space series. After discovering a weird relic on a far-off planet, a vast deep-space mining ship falls dark. Isaac Clarke, an engineer, sets out on the repair assignment only to find a horrific bloodbath with the vessel's crew brutally murdered and afflicted by an alien plague. Isaac is currently stranded, helpless, and fighting for his life with all his might.

In Dead Space, the Game's protagonist, Isaac Clarke, is controlled by players in the third person. Players move through level-based areas of the spacecraft Ishimura, accomplishing objectives with a storyline, working out physics puzzles in the surroundings, and slaying Necromorph enemies. Isaac has a finite amount of air in the vacuum, but this can be increased by locating air tanks elsewhere in the environment. There are specific puzzles for the locations that experience zero-G, where both Isaac and some opponents can hop from one surface to another. Isaac discovers ammunition, health boosters, and Nodes while exploring the Ishimura. Nodes are required to unlock unique doors and enhance Isaac's armour and weaponry.

The Key Features:

  • You haven't faced foes like the Necromorphs before. They are roughly as vulnerable to headshots as rubber bands are to being flicked. To survive, you must separate each of their limbs, which resemble insects, one by one.
  • Although there aren't many conventional weapons on board the Ishimura, Isaac's arsenal has enough stopping power. The Plasma Cutter can fire plasma blasts at adversaries in any direction. Try out different fire modes, and buy upgrades to get more ammunition, energy, and reload speed.
  • Real-time action is taken in all situations. This feature implies that any action you take, such as reloading or looking through your inventory, will provide the Necromorphs with the ideal opening to attack.
  • Isaac can punch to kill lesser enemies and deflect larger ones while stomping to smash supply boxes and assault foes. Kinesis, which may push or pull objects in the environment, and stasis, which temporarily inhibits movement, are two additional skills the players can acquire throughout the Game.

Gameplay:

Every gameplay display is diegetic and appears as a holographic projection in the real world. The back of Isaac's suit shows his energy and health levels, and when weapons are raised, an ammunition count is shown. The Game map, inventories, pick-ups, video calls, control prompts, and storefronts all appear as holographic displays. Time in the Game does not stop while the player is navigating menus.

As he explores, Isaac must battle Necromorphs that emerge from vents or reawaken from the bodies strewn about the ship. Necromorphs come in various varieties, each with unique skills and strategies for defeat. Necromorphs can change their stances and design, such as sprouting new limbs or giving birth to new foes, depending on how they are wounded.

Isaac has access to various weaponry to fight the Necromorphs, which can only be killed by amputating their limbs. Isaac does this with tools made for slicing. The first weapon is obtained during the first Level. However, additional weapons can be created using blueprints found in later levels. Isaac can use workbenches that he can see in the ranks to improve the strength or other characteristics of his weapons and armour.
