Uplink (Europe) (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

In the Game, the player assumes the character of a hacker who begins working for the Uplink Corporation, a large company that hires hackers, in 2010. As the player completes tasks for numerous clients and earns money by hacking the servers of large organizations, they collect money, software, gateway hardware, and skill. The Game's plot opens with the player getting a postponed email from a deceased top-ranking Uplink agent about research conducted by the Andromeda Research Corporation. This group calls itself an "Anti-capitalist, Techno-anarchist" for the Internet to be destroyed. Destroying the Internet is creating the computer virus known as Revelation utilizing artificial life research as a substrate. One of the businesses, Arunmor, attempts to thwart their objectives by creating Faith, a virus that can neutralize Revelation. Isn't it awesome! During the missions, Andromeda injects the Revelation virus with the knowledge that took regarding "The Darwin Project," digital lifeforms that survive and procreate online. As a result, it can act like a typical human virus and swiftly spread many assaults on the ARC and Armor systems.

Key Features :

  • In a fictional future 2010, the player controls a freelance computer hacker who must break into foreign computers, complete contracts, and buy new technology to get into increasingly complex computer systems.
  • Whether the player chooses to side with ARC or Arunmor, ignore it, or even concentrate on freelancing hacking, the plot will move forward without their participation.
  • Players will take on the role of an Uplink Agent, who works for large businesses to support their way of life. Their tasks include breaking into competing computer systems, stealing research data, destroying other companies, money laundering, removing evidence, or falsely accusing innocent people.
  • Players can update their computer systems and buy new software and tools with their money.
  • Players will discover that increasingly challenging and lucrative missions become accessible as their Level rises.
  • A functioning stock market is available for speculative purposes (and even influences its outcome). People's academic and criminal histories are modifiable.
  • Players can reroute funds from bank transactions to their accounts. Even the creation of the deadliest computer virus ever created is up to players.
  • The Game offers a few odd features, such as an in-game IRC client and a multi-monitor functionality in older versions requiring another copy of the Game to run on a different computer.
  • Uplink focuses on replicating highly stylized hacking a la Hollywood.
