Product description
In the follow-up to the famous noir drama, This Is the Police, define the law as you see appropriate! Manage your police force, run the sheriff's office, and conduct investigations, interrogations, and detentions. Make difficult choices in this narrative-driven blend of experience, tactics, and roll tactical battle while attempting to avoid jailing yourself! Adapt the legislation to your needs! In this narrative-driven combination of experience, tactics, and turn-based tactical warfare, you'll control the sheriff's department and oversee your police force.
Has it been simulated? A simulation of administration? A strategic difficulty? A graphic novel? A riddle? Each of these and more are present.
A virtual world called This Is the Police was created by Belarusian studio Weappy Studio and released by Nordic Games and EuroVideo Medien. It was made available on August 2, 2016, for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. It was then made available on March 22, 2017, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on October 24, 2017, for Nintendo Switch. The character Jack Boyd, who is being driven into retiring early by the dishonest mayor, is controlled by the player in the Game. Throughout Boyd's last 180 days on the force in 1985, the Game is set in the fictional city of "Freeburg."
This Is the Police 2 was released on the same platforms as the original Game in 2018
Immerse yourself in a unique, narrative adventure
Greetings to Sharpwood, a violent tiny village that is chilly and unforgiving and where no one is entirely blameless. This village is host to gangsters, smugglers, and yelling populists. Young sheriff Lilly Reed (Sarah Hamilton, The Longest Journey) will need to work with wanted felon Jack Boyd (Jon St. John, Duke Nukem) to keep things peaceful and orderly. She must hope that her risky plan doesn't go awry.
Take part in strategic battles
The action will transition to spin warfare during your riskiest activities. Assemble a group of your best police officers (or, if necessary, deploy a bunch of drunken fools; you can't always be picky!). If the scenario permits, cautiously assess the Terrain, modify your tactics, sneak up on your subjects, and employ non-lethal tools and weaponry. True, it's often difficult to escape a shootout, but watch out—This is the Police 2 that doesn't have hit levels. A police officer's life can be taken by one gunshot.
Became a real sleuth
Gather proof, research the matter, question detainees (or employ more aggressive techniques), and then present the offenders in court. And if the accused was not guilty? Maybe it's time to see if any Sharpwood judges are available for purchase.
