The Longest Journey (Global) (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

In the breathtaking visual experience of The Longest Journey, the player guides April Ryan, the heroine, as she travels through multiple worlds. Discover, unlock new, encounter strange people, confront terrible creatures, educate, develop, and experience the voyage of a career on a fascinating and unique journey of exploration. The Norwegian company Funcom created the magical realism juncture exploration gameplay The Longest Journey, published in 1999 for Microsoft Windows.

The title was critically lauded and a financial success, selling more than 500,000 units by 2004. A version for iOS was made available on October 28, 2014.

The player engages with items on display to solve riddles and advance the plot in The Longest Journey, a moment-in-time action adventure. The title has a large amount of prerecorded speech, most of which is not necessary to win but adds to the scene. Early in 2003, work on The Longest Journey's sequel got underway. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, the Video Game, was made available in April 2006.

Dreamfall Chapters, the following book in the sequence, was crowdfunded on Kickstarter and published in instalments. In October 2014, the show's first episode was broadcast. In June 2016, the last episode was released. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey has a new character and a fresh plot. Thus the makers see it more as a rotational than a true successor to the original Game.

The Longest Journey Home, the straight successor to The Longest Journey, was announced in 2013 and would be created following Dreamfall Chapters. The launch of TLJHome is still up for debate in 2016.

Two distinct universes exist

We are familiar with our world—one governed by reasoning, science, and brutal reality. Another realm, an Arcadian region of magic and turmoil where dreams could come, is hidden beneath the curtain of slumber. Think about having the ability to travel across Stark and Arcadia. Just picture being able to enter different universes as easy as a gateway. You can see this in The Longest Journey. You must do this to preserve the priceless equilibrium between the realms, among order and chaos, and among wizardry and sciences.

Key Features

  • A total of 150 locales are spread over two different and intricate universes.
  • 70 or more speaking characters
  • High-definition pre-rendered video lasting more than 20 minutes.

  • You will be accompanied through the whole Game's more than 50 hours of playtime by an engaging tale with several unexpected turns, fluid gameplay, and an excellent soundtrack.
