About:

Soul at Stake is a 1v4 survival horror Game with an Asian theme. Only one Stake—their souls—are required for each participant. Four gamblers are trying to escape the devil in the strange and lifeless scene, but there is nowhere to go. To drive the devil from their lives and save their souls, their only option is to perform a mysterious sealing ritual.

Plot:

Nobody knows that a ghost named Xi'E created this Game of soul-gambling as a complete hoax (from In Search of the Supernatural, Jin Dynasty). Ghost Xi'E is a demon that desires everyone to be vicious. Despite being evil by nature, it is weak and unable to carry out killing. It performs this cruel Game of soul-gambling after Game by appealing to people's greed and luring them to the Game. Ghost Xi'E draws the players into the gambling Game by using its unique ability to create dreams, turning them into a minor delusion. This gambling Game is nothing but a real killing Game for those caught up in this illusion. During their attempt to flee, they will be pursued by devils, and Ghost Xi'E will summon many cardholders to help people drive out the devils—who are also the unfortunate souls that Ghost Xi'E has imprisoned.

Gamblers deceived by Ghost Xi'E gradually enter the Game, which keeps it alive. But only the Ghost will win eventually in the end.

Devils vs Gamblers:
