Product description

SIMULACRA 2 (PC) - Steam - Digital Code

Simulacra 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Simulacra and builds on the discovered phone horror genre with innovative new apps, a more intricate story, a more extensive live-action cast, and a more in-depth exploration of the murkier aspects of the internet.

A teenage social media influencer's sudden and tragic demise has been determined to be an accident. However, Detective Murilo thinks something is wrong. He asks for your assistance in the investigation and gives you an essential evidence—the victim's phone. Your task is to put together the victim's past using your talents at experimentation, hacking, and the victim's influencer network.

The lost phone horror film Simulacra's sequel is titled Simulacra 2. Here, The Player must cooperate with Detective Murilo to investigate the unexplained death of a Kimera influencer, Maya Crane, which the police handled quickly because they had to meet their monthly quota and, in Det. Murilo's words "can't do a proper job" since they are incapable of doing so.

From the original game, SIMULACRA 2, it feels like a step backwards. Compared to its predecessors, it has more features, but the majority of these features make the game more challenging than it needs to be. Although the videos may provide more information, far too many audio recordings may be explained in texts just as well.

The game's phantom, "The Ripple Man," preys on Kimera's influencers eager to delete the contentious posts they've posted to enhance their reputations. It is the one who murdered Maya and wants to turn her companions into its next prey.

Plot

The player's first decision is whether to play as a sceptical investigator or a tabloid reporter whose "beat" is scary stories.

Depending on which of the two you select, a cutscene will play, showing Murilo handing you the phone and requesting a private conversation. The game begins at this point.

During gameplay, the player will converse with Detective Murilo, Mina D'Silva, Arya Park, and Rex Keegan to solve the puzzle of Maya's odd death.

Key Features

  • The players may decide whether to be a scathing investigative journalist or young investigator.
  • They can investigate a branching storyline and make difficult decisions.
  • Discover the secrets of genuine, flawed individuals by interacting with them.
  • Become more familiar with the history of the previous game's Simulacra.
  • 4K films showing the tragedy beneath this awful act will make you queasy.
