Raiden III: Digital Edition (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

Aliens have taken over the entire Planet!

A new instalment in the venerable Raiden franchise of sliding shooting adventures is called Raiden III Digital Edition. Novel ideas are added in Raiden III, including a "3-dimensional scrolling technique" with the player's viewpoint looking down as the background climbs, descends, and occasionally travels upwards in 3 dimensions. In contrast to the ones featured in earlier instalments, the blue Laser idea is like a stream. A sliding shooting Game titled Raiden III was created by MOSS in 2005, licensed from Seibu Kaihatsu, and released by Taito. In the Raiden series, it is the 4th title.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Raiden III is similar to that in the franchise' earlier titles while also incorporating some new gameplay elements. Gamers now have access to the penetrating Proton Laser as their core weaponry and the Radar Missile as new rocket weaponry. This title has unique features, including Twin Action, which lets one person operate two ships with a single console, and the Rapid Strike multiplier, which raises the score as quickly as an opponent is killed. The franchise's first videogame to give players larger hitboxes is Raiden III. Instead of the previous Game's delayed detonation and limited impact zone, the explosives now detonate quickly and fill the entire screen.

The videogame has 7 Levels of escalating complexity, the first 3 of which are on the Planet and the latter 4 in orbit.

Storyline

The Crystals have started a new assault on Earth in Raiden III. To defeat the Crystals and preserve the Planet, VCD sends out a new version of the Battle Storm, the ME-02. In the Game's finale, the player's Battle Thunder ship transforms into a Fairy after crashing on the wreckage of another Combat Thunder craft.

Key aspects

  • Playthrough - A unique new assault ability called a beam that one player positions anytime ahead of the other have been added to two or more co-game: gamers exchange life and dynamite stocks and continue in double-play mode.
  • Scoring Assault, Monster Rushing, Rewind & Album, Options, and three play styles are among the several styles (solo, dual and double).
  • Three of the seven distinct stages are on Earth, while the final four are in space. The first three stages, the initial of which is modelled on the initial Raiden, are notably comparable to earlier titles, and the bosses are similarly reminiscent of those in the equivalent levels of Raiden II and Raiden DX.
  • Window style, full-screen mode, and variable zoom ratios are all display modes that may be adjusted (x0.5, x1.0, x1.5, x2.0).
  • Bonus Contents: Two CDs of OST with a total of 36 songs are included!
