Product description

Pathologic Classic HD (PC) - Steam - Digital Code

The Definitive Version of the initial Cult Classic Psychological First-Person Survival title is called Pathologic Classic HD. Gamers take control of one of three distinct protagonists as they attempt to protect a mystery village from a horrible epidemic that cannot be halted in this fantastic adventure.

Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge created the leadership and survivalist videogame Pathologic in 2005. In June 2005, Buka Entertainment launched the title in Russia. In 2006, G2 Games and GMX Games published a modified video Game version in English. In October 2015, General Arcade and Nice Shepard Entertainment developed Pathologic Classic HD, an enhanced Game version. Pathologic 2 was a sequel created by Ice-Pick Lodge utilising the Unity Game Engine and distributed by tinyBuild in May 2019.

Gameplay:

Three selectable healers—two males, The Bachelor (Daniil Dankovsky) and Haruspex (Artemy Burakh), and a woman, The Devotress, Klara—are available for the player to select (later re-translated as "The Changeling, Clara"). Only the first two characters are accessible right away; Clara can only be acquired after playing through the adventure with Daniil or Artemy. The possible questlines depend on the personality being selected. During the gameplay of the chosen character, the two more selectable players are accessible in the town.

The mission book for each player avatar lists several objectives, but the player's only imperative goal is to live for the whole 12 days while preserving their supplies. The Game's 12 in-game days of gameplay are set in an eternal universe. The gameplay keeps going whether or not the player completes missions given to them by non-player personalities (NPCs) during each day. Each day, the player's notepad is cleared of all unfinished tasks at approximately midnight. The two types of quests are primary missions (one every day), which determine whether a significant character, known as the "Bound" in the Game, will expire, and side missions, which result in the acquisition of resources.

Key Features:

  • An independent cult favourite.
  • Twelve days in a town that has the plague. Numerous events occur whether or not you are present to see them, as time is mainly running out.
  • 70+ hours of non-grinding, non-repetitive questing fun. More and more events occur as time passes, encouraging you to take part and alter the path of things.
  • Three playable characters and three different plotlines. The stories of The Bachelor, The Haruspex, and The Changeling are intertwined, yet each side of the trilemma is depicted independently through special occasions, quests, conversations, and subplots.
  • The Game's narrative has received significant criticism and is frequently thought to be its best aspect.
  • It's about an intellectual war and the future of the fading town, portrayed by a wide range of personalities and factions, each with their view of reality, mortality, and the miraculous.
  • An interactive universe. The town has no imposed bounds, so even while the premise is there to attract your attention, you are free to explore it immediately and create your narrative.
  • Living is difficult. You must maintain a full stomach and a reasonable Level of immunity to survive in the decaying town. That calls for difficult decisions.
  • Trade information, rob, or steal. Your basic needs may be acquired in various methods, each of which has advantages and disadvantages.
