Their veins are filled with devil blood, uttering horrible facts and wicked concepts. They, who? Tieflings are the outcasts of society.
Who are these living conduits for elemental energy and masters of untamed force? Kineticists are experts in occult elements.
Your barony's door is opened by an enigmatic stranger imprinted with devil blood and endowed with elemental power. She is who? Learn for yourself!
The new Pathfinder: Kingmaker DLC contains the following:
- A brand-new playable race Along with the winner, Aasimars, Tieflings, the people with a trace of demonic blood in their veins, received a lot of votes during the poll to pick which bonus race we would add to the Game. They were an obvious choice for the first piece of post-release DLC, even though they weren't included in the main Game
- An additional playable class. They have mastered the untamed power of the elements and use their extraordinary abilities to control the environment. Kineticists are dangerous in close-quarters and long-range warfare because they are living conduits of primordial energy.
- A brand-new friend. A character is created when a race and a class are combined. Salute the Tiefling Kineticist, your new companion, who, like all companions, has a unique plot. She might also be a potential love interest and occupy a position in the Kingdom.
The new party member will arrive at the start of Chapter 2. Before Chapter 5 ("War of the River Kings") concludes, players can join the companion to their current playthrough anytime; the companion will ask to speak with you in your throne room. However, we suggest you get to know the character immediately.
Although I don't always credit Pathfinder for its writing, this is quite nice. Near the conclusion of the main Game, these friends' situation is appropriately explained, believable, and well-ended.
New Course:
Even though the Kineticist class could be better, exploring is fun. It functions as a ranged elemental DPS without using a weapon, much like a ranger using a bow. Different elemental powers will become available to you as you advance; some of these may be severely constrained by your constitution, but generally, this is still a good class.
A quick anecdote will best illustrate how ridiculously overpowered (yet still fun) the Kineticist class in Pathfinder: Kingmaker is. I was having a terrible time with one of the final battles of the "Beneath the Stolen Lands" expansion, and I could not even win the fight using standard cheesy kiting strategies. But then I recalled I had recently levelled up and received the Kineticist skill "Deadly Earth," so rather than launching ten summoned monsters and an absurdly boosted party at the opponents and still losing,
