Through a narrative campaign, engage in battle against foes on several difficulty settings, including the terrible Nightmare mode!

Key Features:

A battle mage is needed to guard the twisting corridors, massive towers, and wide-open rooms in each of the Game's 24 fortresses.

Improved traps become available as you advance through the campaign, thanks to persistent upgrades!

  • 6 Orc-Killing Spells and Weapons, including a crossbow, a bladed staff, and the elemental magic
  • The extended play is made possible via "Nightmare Mode" and a skeleton ranking system. Scoring and leaderboards are also included. Face off against your pals to determine who is the best orc killer!
  • 11 Different Enemies, such as flying hell bats, ogres, and, of course, several ugly orcs.
  • Campaign built around a story Defend against orcs throughout three acts to uncover the mysterious force underlying their constant attacks.
  •  19 Deadly Traps and Brutal Minions - Use a variety of traps, such as spike traps, arrow walls, spinning blades, and blazing brimstone, or enlist the help of allies to help defeat the orc horde.

Plot:

The Rifts, those magical gaps between the living world and the "Dead World," serve as a source of supernatural abilities for both worlds, and the Order, an elite group of wizards and warriors, guards them. By employing magic to control nature, the Order can maintain a perfect world for humans. They have built magic-powered fortresses across the Dead World to protect the Rifts to defend the human world from the antagonistic Group known as "the Mob". A ferocious motley crew of creatures like Orcs, Ogres, and Gnolls that, despite being stupid, would otherwise present a danger to the human realm due to their sheer numbers.

The player character, referred to as the Protagonist (performed by Rob McCollum), discovers himself to be the lone surviving member of this Group following a sneak attack by the Mob, as the Mob seems to have suddenly gained an increase in both wisdom and skill. He decides to protect the human world, protecting each citadel from the Mob (much to the surprise of his teacher, who recites the story). The Hero eventually discovers that the Sorceress (played by Colleen Clinkenbeard), a former member of the Order who could defend humanity with tremendous potential, instead decides to seek power for herself by using magic to take control of the Mob.

The Hero eventually decides to safeguard the survival of humanity by retreating through a breach and casting straightforward magic to permanently close all of the Mob's openings as their attacks get more ferocious. It prevents the Mob from ever entering the human realm. Yet, it also indicates that civilization can no longer rely on magic to survive, and the entire world, which had grown reliant on magic, starts to fall apart. The Sorceress is left at the disposal of the Mob, which has reverted to its natural, feral nature in the Dead World because the Rifts can no longer grant her access to magic.
