Product description
The sixth Game in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, was created by CyberConnect2 and released by Namco-Bandai on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam platforms. It was available on February 4 in Japan, February 5 in Europe, and February 9 in North America.
Key Features
- Players in NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM can engage in full 3D combat over expansive areas.
- While they pursue their rival for ninja supremacy, players will use intense jutsu assaults, acrobatic evasive techniques, and even run up the walls and over water.
- Players can add their flair to the action by hiring up to two supporting characters and customising their character's fighting style.
The HD version of NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm has been remastered.
Gameplay
Several gameplay components from past games in the Ultimate Ninja series are still present in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Nevertheless, in contrast to the two-dimensional planes in earlier games, Ultimate Ninja Storm lets players engage in combat in three dimensions.
"Awakening Mode," a metamorphosis that may be launched when a player loses a specific amount of health during a match, is one of the novelties added to the franchise in Ultimate Ninja Storm. Different characters have different health requirements depending on how potent the transformation is. After activation, the character acquires new skills, increased speed, and more powerful attacks. Some of the Game's feelings change, giving them entirely new movesets.
Players can activate preset items with the d-pad during a match that either damages the opposition or have other status effects, such as boosting their attack strength or weakening their opponent's defence. Gamers can also choose two support characters to utilise in a match and alter their character's jutsu. The "jutsu clash" mode, present in earlier games, is back and activated when two players use their special attacks simultaneously. Both players must quickly knock their opponent away by pressing the correct button in this mode. There is one "ultimate jutsu" for each character. If it connects, both players compete to spin the analogue stick the fastest throughout the time limit or enter button commands.
If the assaulting player prevails, the opponent will typically lose between a third and a full life bar when the ultimate hits. The defending player will escape with little to no harm if they succeed. Each character also has an "ultimate impact," which is a particularly potent strike if the player keeps the melee button depressed. If it connects, a short, dramatic close-up zoom in on the opponent's face as it takes a severe blow.
Each of the 25 playable characters in the Game can be a supporting character in combat. As free downloadable DLC, ten additional support-only characters were made available over the five months that followed the Game's initial release. Alternative clothes and objectives are included in the other download content.
The story mode primarily covers the events of Part 1 of the manga and anime. Players can access more missions between tasks and explore the Hidden Leaf Village, which is the story mode's hub.
