About
Sam, a US Marine at the Moscow embassy when the bombs were dropped, has long fantasised about going home and perhaps reuniting with his family. In the pitch-black Metro tunnels, the idea seemed inconceivable; when the Spartans learned that other cities had survived the war in addition to Moscow, holding out faith felt less stupid.
Sam leaves the Aurora in Quest of a way to return to the United States and eventually finds Vladivostok's abandoned harbours, destroyed industrial complexes, and dilapidated residential areas. Sam will realise that to complete his Quest, and he will need to use every survival skill he has acquired up to this point because his surroundings are far more complicated than he had anticipated.
As they embark on a brand-new trip across the wastes of post-apocalyptic Russia, players will carve Sam's route across the surviving sandbox landscape of Vladivostok.
Gameplay:
A first-person shooting Game with stealth and survival horror elements is called Metro Exodus. The Game is set in the post-apocalyptic desolation of the former Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The player must contend with new dangers and fight hostile humans and mutant monsters. The player's armoury of hand-made weapons can be customised using materials found while scavenging and a manufacturing system. The Game includes both linear stages and sandbox settings. Additionally, it has a day-night cycle, a complex weather system, and environments that alter with the seasons as the plot develops. The story takes place over a single in-game year.
Sam's Story:
One of the Spartans, former U.S. Marine officer Samuel "Sam" Taylor, resolves to find a means to get back to his house in San Diego to discover if his father survived the nuclear war when the Spartan Order settles in Lake Baikal. Sam leaves the Spartan Order behind and journeys to the port city of Vladivostok, where he encounters Captain Eduard "Ed" Baranov. Sam can return to the United States on the Mayflower, an undamaged nuclear submarine that Baranov guides Sam toward. Sam, however, is captured by men working for Tom, a fellow American, after Sam and Ed are split apart by a mutant onslaught. Sam is tasked with finding Ed since he is the only individual who knows how to refill the Mayflower, according to Tom, who adds that he was an armaments dealer stuck in Russia after the nuclear bombs went off. Sam persuades Ed to negotiate a deal with Tom even though Ed does not trust Tom's motives regarding the Mayflower, particularly given that it still carries nuclear missiles and his staff has vanished. Sam and Ed go to a nearby abandoned military camp for the fuel rods required to power the Mayflower. Ed still doubts Tom, so he encourages Sam to use the chance to damage the Mayflower, even if it necessitates giving up his chance to go home. When Tom's lieutenant Klim suddenly turns on him and strikes the Mayflower, Sam, Ed, and Tom must cooperate. Sam kills Klim, and the Mayflower starts to leave port. Sam can then choose to destroy the Mayflower or leave it standing.
If Sam doesn't wreck the Mayflower, Tom delivers on his promise to send Sam to San Diego and uses the Mayflower's arsenal of weapons. The submarine bursts and sinks if Sam trashes the Mayflower, killing Ed and Tom. Sam stays in Vladivostok but decides to find another way home now that he knows that no one can use the nuclear weapons the Mayflower was carrying.
