The sequel to the critically acclaimed Game "LostWinds" is titled "Winter of the Melodias."
By utilising the wonders of nature, players in this new adventure can instantly switch Mistralis between Summer and Winter. Frozen winter ponds and waterfalls transform into deep, teeming summer puddles and chambers where players can dive and discover secrets, enemies can be frozen or slathered, and the air can be used to create snowballs or clouds that are heavy with moisture.
 
One of the Game's other incredible new features is the tornado, which can bore through rocks in Melodia City and the various highly dynamic Chilling Peaks regions of Mistral. It can also be used to destroy prominent opponents and transport Toku.

Gameplay:
 
In contrast to the original Game, players can change the weather, from winter to Summer and vice versa. This feature helps players with a variety of problems. The Game also includes an in-game map and tip system to keep players from becoming lost. Swimming, breaking boulders, and using cyclones are just a few of the skills and tools players can learn as the Game progresses, along with other things like a coat. According to Frontier Developments, the non-player characters in LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias was created to feel more intimate than in the original Game.
 
Plot:
 
River, a Melodia kid assigned to sing at the King's ceremonial, is the player's character in the Game's prologue. A bridge collapses under River while he is investigating the city of the Melodias, throwing him into a cavern where he discovers a stone that is oozing evil magic. "Towards last, I have found you" is written in a text box at the prologue's conclusion.
 
The focus then shifts to Toku, the lead character of LostWinds. The original Game's final boss, Magmok, helps Toku and Enrol ascend to the Summer falls mountain during the tutorial. They quickly realise the settlement is frozen in perpetual winter when they arrive. While some residents are terrified of the "monsters" that lurk in the winter, many of the inhabitants have been transformed to stone. Toku's first task is to stay near any sources of heat in the community to shield himself from the deadly cold. Eventually, up in the mountains, Toku comes across Riveren and is thrown into the abyss of Summerfall. As a result of the black magic that has consumed him, Riveren has turned hostile and misshapen. An Eskimo tribe saves Toku, reunites him with his mama Magdi, and gives him a winter suit.
