Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

A multiplayer third-person shooter game with a team-based approach, Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, was created by Fatshark and released in 2010 for Microsoft Windows via Steam and the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network. Paradox Interactive published it. Although it was planned, the Xbox Live Arcade version was shelved.

The American Old West is where Lead and Gold is set. It offers six different game modes and four character classes. The goals of a particular game mode are completed by the players working together as a team. It was frequently compared to an Old West version of Team Fortress 2 and received mixed reviews.

Gameplay:

The American Old West is where Lead and Gold is set. There are four character classes to choose from, each with its tools, skills, and "synergies." This "synergy" is a range-based power-up that improves the skills of every teammate in the immediate area.

Key Features:

  • The Blaster emits a defensive synergy effect while brandishing a double barrel shotgun and dynamite sticks.
  • The Deputy may tag foes for teammates, fire a repeating carbine, and emit a synergy effect that increases damage.
  • The Gunslinger possesses a highly accurate revolver, is capable of firing it quickly but with less precision, and emits a synergy effect that boosts weapon accuracy.
  • A scoped hunting rifle, immobilising traps, and a synergy effect for critical hits are all carried by trappers.
  • By being close to other teammates, players' health will steadily replenish. Any player can also revive a fallen buddy.

Game Modes:

There are six different game modes available in Lead and Gold. The first game mode is called Shootout, and it is a typical team deathmatch. Conquest mode is comparable to Onslaught mode from Unreal Tournament 2004. Conquest's goal is to take control of waypoints one by one. While the opposing team advances the opposite way, one section begins in its home zone and moves toward the enemy zone. A zone's conquest opens the door to the following site in the chain. You can take control of a location by eliminating all the enemies there and remaining there until your flag is hoisted.

The Unreal Tournament 2004 game mode Assault is comparable to Powder Keg. In Powder Keg, one side attempts to defend objectives while the other team tries to destroy them with powder kegs. Each team acts as the attacker and defender throughout this format's two rounds of play. In addition, a cooperative game mode called Gold Fever is available for one or two players. You and your friend are trying to collect as many sacks of gold as possible while fending against unending waves of AI characters. When both players pass away, the game is over.
