Gameplay

Players compete against one another in the fighting game Injustice 2 while using characters from the DC Universe and other franchises. Players must use a variety of directional inputs and button presses to carry out fundamental attacks, special moves, and combinations in order to hurt and dispatch the opposing fighter. Character traits, stage changes, and environment interaction are just a few of the gameplay features that have been brought over from Injustice: Gods Among Us to Injustice 2. Like before, the characteristic system offers a momentary advantage or skill that fits each character's playstyle. The super metre, which, when completely charged, enables players to perform improved special moves and unlock potent "super moves," is also back.

Plot

As Brainiac attacks Krypton, Kara Zor-El and a young Kal-El flee the planet. This is where the game starts. They can flee in pods bound for Earth with the help of Kara's mother, but Kara's ship is derailed in the process. Batman and his son Robin seek to halt Superman's Regime from executing Arkham Asylum inmates years later, before the first game's events. Batman engages Superman in combat after failing to stop him but is then attacked by Robin, who favours Superman's tactics. Batman beats Robin, but after killing Victor Zsasz, the latter nevertheless departs with Superman to join the Regime.
