Ground Control II: Operation Exodus is a real-time tactics video Game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Rebellion. It was released for Microsoft Windows and later ported to Xbox. The Game is inspired by a science fiction universe where players control a military force in a series of strategic battles.

Operation Exodus focuses on tactical combat and resource management. Players take control of a squad of soldiers and must guide them through a series of missions, each with its own set of objectives. The Game features various units, including infantry, vehicles, and aircraft, each with strengths and weaknesses.

Operation Exodus is divided into two main modes: single-player and multiplayer. In single-player mode, players follow the Game's storyline through a series of missions. Operation Exodus's story

Follows a group of soldiers stranded on a hostile alien planet after their spaceship is destroyed. As they struggle to survive, they encounter a powerful alien race and must fight to save humanity from their onslaught.

Set in the 24th century and revolves around a massive conflict between two powerful factions: the Northern Star Alliance (NSA) and the Consortium. The NSA is a coalition of human colonies, while the Consortium is a group of corporate entities that have banded together for mutual protection. The conflict between these two factions is fueled by a rare mineral called Promethium, which is essential for advanced technology and space travel.

As the Game begins, the NSA has launched a massive assault on the Consortium's home planet, hoping to end the war. However, their attack is thwarted by a mysterious force that destroys their fleet and strands them on a hostile alien world. The player takes control of Captain Jacob Angelus, the leader of a small squad of soldiers tasked with survival and saving humanity from the alien threat.
