DuckTales: Remastered (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

The platform video game in the Metroidvania style, DuckTales: Remasteredwas created by WayForward Technologies and released by Capcom. The video game is an HD version of DuckTales, which was first made available for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. It was initially made available for various gaming systems, including Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and the Wii U. Later, it was also made available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

One of the most beloved 8-bit games of all time has been beautifully reimagined in DuckTales: Remastered. Return to one of the gaming eras of the golden age, now enhanced with a degree of detail that will satisfy both the most ardent Disney and classic Capcom fans.

Scrooge McDuck and his family are brought to life thanks to hand-drawn animated sprites, real Disney voice actors, and lavishly painted level backgrounds from the vintage animation TV series. A few minor changes have been made to the gameplay to improve the design and flow while keeping the simplicity and fun of its 8-bit predecessor.

Join Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, on an actual DuckTales adventure as they visit far-flung locales around the globe in search of the five Legendary Treasures.

Gameplay

  • The game, like the original, centres on Scrooge McDuck exploring the globe in search of five treasures to further his fortune.
  • Remastered, it includes significant improvements to the original graphics and audio, an extended plot, and an entire voice cast comprising the then-remaining actors and actresses from the original animated series.
  • The presentation of DuckTales: Remastered is 2.5D, featuring hand-drawn 2D character sprites and 3D modelled levels.
  • Remastered maintains the same gameplay as the original DuckTales game, with players assuming the role of Scrooge McDuck as he explores the globe in pursuit of five treasures to expand his fortune.
  • Scrooge may use his cane as a pogo stick to hit foes from above or swing it to strike or break objects. Additionally, he can jump over dangerous terrain that would harm him if he moved across it on foot and reached higher places.
  • Scrooge can find numerous diamonds along the road to boost his wealth and ice cream or cakes to improve his health. These diamonds can be located in treasure boxes or appear in specific locations.
  • The stages include a series of characters who perform a variety of roles in assisting or impeding the player's progress. Alan Young, Chuck McCann, Russi Taylor, and Terry McGovern lend their voices.
