Third-person action-adventure Game Brave: The Video Game is a companion to the famous animated film of the same name from Disney/Pixar 2012, which it is based on. The story of Merida, the first female lead character in a Pixar film, is told in Brave, the studio's first fairy tale film. A family-friendly plot, sword and bow fighting, quick in-game movement, puzzle play, movie characters, and those exclusive to the Game, and support for Windows and Mac operating systems are all aspects of the Game.
The Video Game "Brave" is based on the Disney/Pixar animated fantasy adventure film "Brave" and challenges players to run, jump, and fight through Scotland's mystical and enigmatic environment. Gamers can also use a sword, bow, and arrow to take down dangerous foes, break a magical curse, and defend a kingdom using their cunning and courage.
Gameplay
- Play as Merida, a skilled archer and the first female hero from Pixar, or choose from various other exciting movie characters in the console versions. They will also be able to solve puzzles to reveal mysteries while on quests through a mystical environment.
- A thrilling single-player narrative, cooperative play with family and friends, and a unique Bear mode where players can take on the role of a bear are all included in the Game's gameplay elements.
- Both single-player and local cooperative play is available in the Game. The first player controls Mérida, and in co-op mode, a second player can control a will-o'-the-wisp.
- The triplets and Queen Elinor, who may be controlled as a bear in Arena combat, can both be used to solve riddles in the Game.
- From the location known as "Ring of Stones," players can access several Game levels.
- When battling adversaries, some of which are weak to a particular element, players can add elemental effects to their arrows and sword attacks by using various charms (fire, earth, air, and ice).
Storyline
Before Elinor's change into a bear and subsequent escape from the castle, where the Game starts, the video Game's plot parallels that of the movie.
To go to the Ring of Stones, Mérida pursues her mother into the woods. Will-o'-the-wisps appear to lead her to the witch's cottage, where she first learned the spell. Mérida requests that the witch change her mother back when she confronts her. The witch says that hostile animals have begun appearing because the cursed bear Mor'du has been polluting several way stones with his evil energies.
