The Lich has engulfed the planet in an everlasting state of turmoil and sent everyone living there into a time loop. Place obstacles for the courageous hero to conquer, such as structures and Terrain, using a developing deck of magical cards. Grow the survivors' camp to sustain each excursion in the loop and rescue and equip powerful loot for each type of warrior to use in the fight. A 2021 infinite RPG called Loop Hero was designed by the Russian corporation Four Quarters and licensed by Devolver Digital. Instead of directly directing a character in the Game, the player manipulates the spontaneously created universe by putting cards. On March 4, 2021, the Game was made available for Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows. On December 9, 2021, a Nintendo Switch version was made accessible.

Narrative

The beginning speech of the Game, which takes place after the end of the world, explains that a wicked lich destroyed actuality and everything in it. The character wakes up in a modest tent on a trail and begins on an adventure to attempt to repair his life. He encounters other survivors along the way, either supporting him in his efforts to reconstruct the world or, in their desperation, who consider it to be destroyed and turn against him to help their survival. 

The character learns that God himself, Omega, is behind the end of truth when he vanquishes Lich and his adherents. Omega says that his former existence, Alpha, was accountable for creating the cosmos and humans and had a particular affinity for them. On a whim, Alpha decides to visit one of his universes and confront people face to face. Nonetheless, the primitive person he encountered assaulted him with a spear in a Quest to defend his household, much to his horror and astonishment. Intimidated by humanity's resistance to him, Alpha let himself be assassinated by society and was resurrected as Omega, who was now eager to wipe out the cosmos to feel once again what it felt like to die.

It is disclosed that one of the hero's allies, Yota, was originally the Goddess of Probability. She has been quietly helping him the entire time after the hero confronts and successfully defeats Omega. Omega proclaims the villain to be victorious and informs the character that it will require a thousand years for him to resurrect again into Alpha and establish a new world. In Alpha's disappearance, the hero swears to continue developing his planet so that his offspring will be prepared to welcome him in his next incarnation. Then, Yota provides the hero with the choice of staying in his town to restore the planet or leaving to visit other universes where he has refused to protect humanity from Omega.
