Product description
The medieval authentic strategic Game called Cossacks: European Wars is inspired by events that occurred in Europe from the 16th to the 18th century when empires and countries were established and destroyed, and seas of blood were spilt in battle. Algeria, Austria, England, France, the Netherlands, Piemonte, Poland, Portugal, Prussia, Russia, Saxony, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, and Venice are among the 16 countries or areas that make up the Cossacks. Each one offers various tactics and strategies for fighting any foe thanks to its visuals, economic and technological growth quirks, tactical benefits and disadvantages, and special troops and technology. Thus, Austria possesses powerful light and strong cavalry, England is the most vital sea power, and the Cossacks are the glory of the Ukrainian military.
In individual or network gaming areas, fights involving up to 8,000 troops can be fought. Long-term city sieges, guerrilla warfare, the seizure of strategic peaks and planning of ambushes, landing troops on hostile coasts, and naval conflicts are all possible. The Game's design emphasizes less the per-unit administration of resources and more on building strong economies, advancing technology, conquering new regions, and border defence.
Action Game
This Game continues the Cossacks franchise' tradition of having several units on screen at once that are all under the player's simultaneous command. In contrast to other authentic tactical video games, the maximum number of soldiers that may be utilized at once is 64,000. Only the Total War series can even come close to this amount, with 10,000 being the most soldiers that can be used simultaneously.
Singleplayer
Six nations are accessible in the Battle for Europe mode: France, Russia, Prussia, Austria, Egypt, and Great Britain. The goal of one of these is to rule over Europe. Spain, the Duchy of Warsaw, and the Confederacy of the Rhine are included in the 2006 add-on Cossacks 2: Battle for Europe.
Players are given control of a singular troop, which they can deploy across Europe according to a spin system. Actual combat is used in battles. Based on how many wars are won, player competence grows over time. More units are accessible when rewards are gained, and better ones could also become accessible. Only troops may be employed first, followed by infantry, engineering, cavalry, artillery, and lastly, elite ground forces and cavalry.
Versus mode
Players can engage in an online skirmish in the multiplayer option.
Virtually personal connections, such as LogMeIn Hamachi, must be set up for multiplayer gaming. A player may join another player's server after joining one created by them. However, gaming in this manner might lead to a lot of issues. It's also vital to remember that if you apply the Steam version's necessary patch (for it even to launch correctly), you won't be able to participate in multiplayer at all.
