Product description
In the real-time strategy Game Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, you take control of an elite Special Forces unit operating behind enemy lines during World War II in Europe. Strike swiftly from land or sea, sneaking into adversarial countries and launching raids to disable the German war machine. This can be done from the coast of France to the centre of the Third Reich.
Characters
The player is in charge of a squad of Commandos that they can utilise to finish tasks. The Driver, a member of the original Commandos team, did not appear in any games before Destination Berlin. The character Natasha (commonly known as "Lips"), who debuted in Commandos: Beyond The Call of Duty, is also missing. Green Beret, Sniper, Marine, Sapper, Spy, and Thief are the only characters from Commandos that are now playable.
Gameplay
The Game's 'point-and-click style of play is similar to those of the earlier games. In contrast to the previous instalment, it contains fewer hotkeys, and instead, the user must push buttons on the action bar at the bottom of the screen.
- All adversaries are visible to the player on the map and can be tracked and attacked based on their actions.
- There are other variations, such as the insertion of an assault rifle—a weapon that is more potent than a handgun but less potent than a rifle. In addition, all units can employ weapons like grenades instead of simply the Sapper, as in earlier games.
- When looking through enemy bodies or supply crates, a comparable but smaller box is displayed to indicate their capacity. Except for the sniper rifle, practically all the small weaponry is now usable by commandos like the Green Beret or Spy, who could only use the legal handgun in previous games.
Major Highlights
- Enemy bombing strikes obliterate and transform the surrounding landscape, forcing you to adjust your tactics as you go; therefore, train your commandos in various ways.
- In several brand-new cooperative and deathmatch multiplayer modes, engage in head-to-head WWII combat.
- Engage the enemy all over Europe, from the Gestapo Headquarters in Berlin to the D-Day assault on Omaha Beach, each delivering distinctive tactical circumstances and more action than ever in the franchise.
- Use various strategies, including ambushes, assaults, stealth, and sabotage, to move across intricate interior and external landscapes and thwart enemy advances.
