Product description
Five stunt performers in the tactical role-playing Game Chroma Squad decide to leave their professions and launch their TV programme based on the Power Rangers. Cast performers invest in studio equipment and upgrades and construct enormous mechs and weapons from cardboard and duct tape. You will command your cast of five warriors wearing coloured jumpsuits in action-packed, turn-based fights once the cameras start rolling!
Behold Studios' Brazilian development team created the tactical role-playing video Game Chroma Squad. Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises, in particular, are tokusatsu TV series that have affected the Game. Kickstarter was used to finance the Game's creation.
Gameplay
- The player must designate the performers, each with unique qualities, to their various roles on the team and the colours of their suits once the studio has been founded.
- The name of the squad, the name of their robot, and their catchphrases can all be modified as the Game proceeds.
- Each Game Level corresponds to a distinct episode of the show where the heroes combat a gang of villains, occasionally followed by a battle between the team's enormous mecha and a giant monster.
- The heroes' performance during the episode directly affects the show's ratings. High ratings expand the audience for the programme and provide more money, which can be utilised to update the team's gear, mecha, and studio.
The seasons are made up of episodes, and if the sponsors' objectives aren't met at the end of each season, the Game is finished.
The heroes engage in combat first as their usual selves, later learning how to change, regain health, and discover unique powers. The "teamwork" feature enables heroes to aid one another in combat by moving farther, delivering powerful attacks collectively, or combining their abilities into a unique spell that boosts ratings when used to defeat the monster of the week.
Major Highlights
- Three possible endings and complex RPG systems with skill trees, random equipment, crafting, and branching storylines!
- Battle of the giant mechs: Destroy the city to save the town!
- A tribute to the Japanese television shows of our youth, including Power Rangers, Tokusatsu, and more!
- A chiptune soundtrack that shines like justice, along with delightfully animated pixel visuals!
- Create weaponry, clothes, and enormous cardboard robots for your TV productions while hiring actors and upgrading your equipment.
- Combat in a tactical RPG with a twist: use Teamwork moves together with the skills of your heroes!
