Gameplay

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has three class trees with 22 skills per tree, four playable races, and five unique locales. The Almain (civilized humans), Dokkalfar (dark elves), Ljosalfar (light elves), and Varani are the four playable races (Nomadic Humans). The game's three classes, which are separated into Might, Finesse, and Sorcery and correlate to the fighter, rogue, and mage classes, are available to the player once they begin as a "Fateless." Additional levels are unlocked as the player engages in combat and accumulates experience. The player earns three ability points with each level they reach, which they can use in the skill-tree system to unlock or enhance their abilities or allocate to one of the other trees.
