A quick heads up before you start rerolling. Almost every Secret, Ultra, and Evo style is limited, which means it only sits in the spin pool during its release or return window. Your dream pick might not be rollable today, so check the Styles menu before you burn your Lucky Spins. Also, a low spot on this Volleyball Legends styles tier list does not make a style useless. Role fit and your own timing matter more than one letter, and we have called out the hidden gems in every tier.

S+ Tier Styles

The S+ tier sits at the very top of our Volleyball Legends tier list and holds the Ultra and Evo styles that bend the rules of the game. These styles grow stronger as you level them up, and their specials can win rallies on their own. If you land any of these, lock it in and never look back. Sadly, they are also the hardest rolls in the game at just 0.25% per Lucky Style Spin, and all of them are limited. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

StyleRarityRoleBest For
EnchoEvoAll RounderAny role, any mode
RoninUltraSpikerPoint ending spikes
AkariUltraSpikerAir movement and combos
HakkaUltraSetterClone mixups
MamoriUltraBlockerParries and net control
  • Encho: The first and only Evo style in Volleyball Legends, and the most flexible pick in the game. Its Stretch special extends its arms in mid air, which gives you a bigger hitbox on blocks, spikes, serves, and sets. Maxed Jump, 90% Spike, and no stat below 50% mean it fits anywhere on the court. You also upgrade Stretch through a six level skill tree that you unlock with Ranked quests. Encho only comes back during reruns, so grab it the moment it returns.
  • Ronin: The cleanest raw attacker in the game, with maxed Jump and Spike. The September 12 rework made it even scarier. Its Charged Spike now fills up faster as you build the Blade Meter by playing defense, and Mastery 3 unlocks Sheath, which lets you store a full charge and release it instantly instead of showing the wind up. Mastery 5 even stuns opponents when you hit the sweet spot. Players who gave up on Ronin before the rework are coming back for good reason.
  • Akari: An Ultra built around dashing through the air. Its dash lets you reposition in mid air, extend combos, and attack from angles defenders never see coming. With maxed Jump and Spike plus 90% Speed, Akari rewards smart reads more than raw power.
  • Hakka: The first Ultra ever added to the game. Fill the Clone Meter through normal plays, then jumpset the ball sideways to spawn a clone you control separately. Mastery 1 speeds up clone charging and Mastery 5 unlocks a second clone, opening up setups no other setter can copy. It has a steep learning curve, but nothing confuses a defense faster.
  • Mamori: The newest style in Volleyball Legends and the fourth Ultra. Block right as the ball reaches you to Parry it back and knock away the opponents in front of you. In the air, its Charge launches you toward the ball on a 3.5 second cooldown. Mastery adds Perfect Parry, +15% Speed, Parry Dash, +10% Block, and 15% longer parry windows. It is only days old, so its spot could still shift as players learn the timing. Still, a blocker that sends spikes back with interest is already a nightmare at the net. Mamori stays in the spin pool until October 31, 2026.

S-Tier Styles

This is where the strongest Secret styles in our Volleyball Legends tier list live. They sit a notch below S+ only because they do not scale with Mastery the way the Ultras do. In terms of raw impact, every pick here can carry a ranked lobby, and most of them come with specials that force the other team to change how they play. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

StyleRarityRoleBest For
RikuSecretSpiker and SupportUnpredictable attack angles
The TwinsSecretSetter and ServerSwitching roles mid rally
FeikoSecretSetterSetter dumps that score
IbaraSecretAll RounderWalls that deny space
Timeskip KyamoSecretSetterSuper Sets and playmaking
HidariSecretSpikerLeft handed backline attacks
ShiroSecretSetter and BlockerTwo mode blocking
RokettoSecretOffense and SupportJetpack hang time
  • Riku: Creates holographic walls that redirect the ball, so defenders never really know where it will end up. Maxed Jump and Spike back up the tricks, and it is especially nasty in 1v1 and 2v2 matches.
  • The Twins: Two styles in one. Swap between Osuma for offense and Atasumi for defense and setting in the middle of a rally. Maxed Serve and Set with 85% Speed make both halves useful. It usually returns during Tournament Week events.
  • Feiko: A setter that doubles as a scoring threat. It can turn a set into a sharp dump over the net, which keeps blockers guessing on every single touch. Maxed Jump and Set seal the deal.
  • Ibara: Spawns up to four vine walls that block and ricochet incoming balls, which shuts down huge chunks of the court. Maxed Jump and Spike mean it can finish points too.
  • Timeskip Kyamo: A community favorite and still one of the best setters ever added. Its Super Set gives you float control on the ball, while maxed Serve and Set plus 85% Speed let it run the whole offense.
  • Hidari: A left handed spiker whose Serve (30% to 110%) and Spike (60% to 110%) swing based on how you play it. It fires brutal backline shots that are a pain to receive.
  • Shiro: The second Secret ever with a rainbow Block stat, which means it climbs past 100%. It packs two block modes on one key, Slam and Boost, so you can choose the right block for every situation.
  • Roketto: Wears a jetpack that lets you stall in the air before you touch the ball. That extra hang time lets you wait out blockers and set up spikes for your teammates. Maxed Jump and Spike round it off.

A-Tier Styles

The A tier is packed with Secret styles that still win plenty of games. Each one has a small catch holding it back, like an older kit, a tough skill floor, or a role that is too narrow for random lobbies. Do not reroll these just because they sit outside the top two tiers of this Volleyball Legends tier list. In the right hands, a few of them still outplay anything above. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

KazanaSecretSpikerCharged high jumps
KisukiSecretLiberoBack row defense
SanjuSecretSpikerTilt control
YoganSecretAll RounderRage Mode spikes
  • Kumo: Bump, Dive, Set, and Speed all sit at 100%. Its controllable Moonball bumps and a boost for your teammate’s next hit make it a dream in coordinated teams, and it shines on the Jungle map.
  • Taichou: Charged sets that boost the power of the next spike, plus maxed Jump and Set and 90% Speed. It is brilliant with friends, but in random lobbies the boost often goes to waste.
  • Timeskip Okazu: Famous for rainbow serves and tempo control, with maxed Jump, Serve, and Set. Its 20% Block is the one weak spot opponents will target.
  • Timeskip Hinto: Its Spike scales from 90% all the way to 130%, backed by a Super Spike and 70% Speed. Still a terror at the net, it only slipped because newer Secrets bring more tricks.
  • Kijo: A high skill spiker that charges a two stage super tilt for directional hits. Master the timing and you end points on demand. Miss it, and you will feel it.
  • Jinko: Both Spin and Serve climb past 100%, so it bends serves and spikes into awkward lanes. Its latest return ran from October 3 to October 17, 2026 with Mastery rewards like Lucky Style Spins and a JINKO title.
  • Mikage: Maxed Block and Jump with a charged ghost arm block that covers a huge area. It is brilliant at the net, but 20% Bump and 20% Set leave it lost everywhere else.
  • Kazana: Charges a higher jump before attacking, with Jump past 100% and maxed Bump and Spike. A strong hitter that simply lacks the tricks of the S tier spikers.
  • Kisuki: Dive climbs past 100%, and Bump, Set, and Speed are all maxed, along with a larger charged dive. It is a back row monster, but 30% Spike means it rarely scores on its own.
  • Sanju: Lets you change the ball’s tilt from side to side, with Tilt past 100% and maxed Jump and Spike. It is one of the few Secrets that stays in the permanent pool, which makes it the easiest Secret to plan around.
  • Yogan: Builds Rage Mode through successful receives, and every stat jumps to 100% while Rage is active. Managing the meter is tricky, which keeps it at the bottom of this tier.

B-Tier Styles

If you don’t have a Secret yet, this is the most important tier on our Volleyball Legends tier list for you. All four Godly styles sit permanently in the standard spin pool, so they are the most realistic upgrade for most players. Their stats are excellent, but they lack the specials that make Secret and Ultra styles so hard to deal with. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

StyleRarityRoleBest For
OkazuGodlySetter and ServerServe and set pressure
KyamoGodlySetterClean, balanced setting
BakuriGodlySpiker and ServerRaw spike power
HirakumiGodlyBlockerNet control
  • Okazu: The best Godly in the game. Maxed Jump and Serve with 90% Set make it a constant threat from the service line and a solid setter in rallies.
  • Kyamo: Maxed Set with solid numbers almost everywhere else, which makes it the most balanced Godly style. A great pick if you want to learn setting without a glaring weakness.
  • Bakuri: Maxed Jump and Spike plus strong Serve. It hits as hard as many Secrets, but its low Speed means you need good positioning to reach the ball in time.
  • Hirakumi: Maxed Block and Jump with a 90% Serve, built for oppressive net play and fast downward blocks. Its very low Speed is the price you pay.

C-Tier Styles

These Legendary styles sit in the middle of our Volleyball Legends tier list for a reason. They get the job done in casual matches and early ranked games. Each one has a clear strength, but most of them also carry a stat so low that skilled opponents will target it every rally. Use them while you save up Lucky Spins, then swap the moment a Godly or Secret lands. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

YomosukeLegendaryReceiverBump and dive
  • Yokai: The best Legendary by a distance. Maxed Jump and Speed with 85% Bump and Dive make it a great libero, though its 10% Serve is rough.
  • Uchikai: A 100% Spike with nothing else special. Easy to understand and great for learning front row attacks.
  • Azmei: 90% Serve and 90% Spike make it the easiest Legendary to score with.
  • Kozei: Maxed Jump with 80% Serve and Spike, but a painful 10% Speed holds it back.
  • Sazuroku, Kyoshin, and Yomosuke: Defensive Legendaries with good Dive numbers. Sazuroku has 100% Speed, but all three struggle to score, and Sazuroku and Kyoshin are stuck with a 10% Serve.

D-Tier Styles

Welcome to the bench. These Common and Rare styles are the weakest picks in our Volleyball Legends tier list, and you will see them a lot since they make up most of your normal spins. They are fine for learning the controls, but reroll them as soon as you can. Check out all the Volleyball Legends styles in this tier:

  • Sagumi and Yachikusai: The best Commons. Sagumi has 75% Set and 70% Spike, and Yachikusai’s 75% Serve can steal a few cheap points early on.
  • Hinto: 50% in every stat. It teaches you the game, and that is about it.
  • Hakochi and Tonkura: The bottom of the barrel. Hakochi has a 10% Serve, and Tonkura only has 20% Jump. Spin them away on sight.

Volleyball Legends Secret Styles Tier List: All 19 Secrets Ranked

Secret styles are where the real chase begins. You need to hit Level 15 before you can roll them, and each one carries a Secret Special that changes how you play. With 19 of them in the game now, here is a separate Volleyball Legends secret styles tier list that ranks them against each other, along with what their special actually does.

Here are the quick picks from the Secret pool:

  • Best Secret overall: Riku, thanks to walls that turn every attack into a guessing game.
  • Best Secret setter: Timeskip Kyamo, with Feiko right behind it.
  • Best Secret blocker: Shiro, though Mikage is still a wall at the net.
  • Best Secret libero: Kumo, with Kisuki as the purer defensive option.
  • Easiest Secret to plan for: Sanju, since it stays in the permanent pool while most other Secrets rotate in and out.

Volleyball Legends Abilities Tier List: All 14 Abilities Ranked

No Volleyball Legends tier list is complete without abilities. Your style decides your stats, but your ability decides what you can pull off once the meter is full. Abilities charge as you touch the ball and score points off your own touch, so staying involved in rallies matters. Here is our complete Volleyball Legends abilities tier list:

S-Tier Abilities

  • Shield Breaker: The best offensive ability in the game. Your next spike becomes a hammer that blockers struggle to stop, which is exactly what a spiker needs against strong front rows.
  • Extra Touch: Gives your team one more touch in a rally. That sounds small, but it saves broken plays and opens up setups the other side never sees coming.
  • Magnetic Pull: Drags a nearby ball back into your hitting zone. It rescues bad receives and creates bait plays that look impossible.
  • Redirection Jump: Change direction in mid air to fake one lane and hit another. It is the best ability you can get without rolling a Secret.
  • Lead Feet: Snaps you back to the floor from mid air, up to three times on a full charge. It is fantastic for baiting blockers, but it is limited and only shows up during return windows.

A-Tier Abilities

  • Curve Spike: Adds curve to your spikes and serves through tilt inputs, which makes them hard to read. Great for servers.
  • Divine Strength: Simple and effective. More spike power and more reliable tilts.
  • Steel Block: The go to pick for blockers, since a good block sends the ball straight down.
  • Zero Gravity Set: Slows down your next set so your spiker can time the hit cleanly. A must have for setters without a Secret.

B-Tier Abilities

  • Boom Jump: A straightforward jump boost that helps both spikers and blockers reach higher.
  • Super Sprint: A quick speed burst that still matters for saving balls, even though it is a Common.
  • Rolling Thunder: A long dive that covers a huge chunk of court when you are out of position.

C-Tier Abilities

  • Moonball: Can steal points against slow back rows, but it rarely beats skilled players.
  • Team Spirit: A movement boost for the whole team that is easy to waste in solo queue. Reroll it.

Best Volleyball Legends Styles for Every Position

Not every player wants the same thing from a style, so a raw Volleyball Legends tier list only tells half the story. Here are the best styles in Volleyball Legends for each position, along with an easier pick from the permanent pool if you are still saving up spins:

PositionBest PicksEasier Pick to Roll
SpikerRonin, Akari, RikuBakuri (Godly) or Uchikai (Legendary)
SetterHakka, Timeskip Kyamo, FeikoKyamo or Okazu (Godly)
Libero or ReceiverKumo, KisukiYokai (Legendary)
BlockerMamori, Shiro, MikageHirakumi (Godly)
ServerTimeskip Okazu, JinkoOkazu (Godly) or Azmei (Legendary)
All RounderEncho, The Twins, IbaraKozei (Legendary)

Playing with friends? Try to build around roles instead of stacking five spikers. A strong setter like Timeskip Kyamo or Taichou makes every hitter on your team better, while a libero like Kumo keeps rallies alive long enough for your spikers to finish them.

Volleyball Legends Positions and Stats Explained

Every style in Volleyball Legends is a set of stats with a role attached. Knowing what each stat does helps you read a style card in seconds instead of guessing. Here is what matters:

Core Stats

  • Block: How well you stop spikes at the net.
  • Bump: How cleanly you receive serves and hard hits.
  • Dive: How far you can dive to save a ball.
  • Jump: How high you get for spikes, blocks, and jump serves.
  • Serve: How much power and control your serves have.
  • Set: How accurate your sets are for your spikers.
  • Speed: How fast you move around the court.
  • Spike: How much power your attacks carry.
  • Special stats: Some styles add a ninth stat tied to their special, like Tilt, Spin, Wall, or Parry. When a stat bar turns rainbow, it goes past 100%.

Positions

  • Spiker: Your main scorer. Look for high Spike, Jump, and Serve.
  • Setter: The playmaker who feeds the spikers. Set and Serve matter most, with Jump and Speed helping in messy rallies.
  • Libero or Receiver: The back row defender. Bump, Dive, and Speed keep the ball alive.
  • Blocker: The wall at the net. Block and Jump come first.
  • All Rounder: Balanced styles that can fill whatever spot your team needs.

Volleyball Legends Style Rarities, Spin Chances, and Pity

Knowing what sits high on the Volleyball Legends tier list is only half the battle. You also need to know your odds before you start spinning.

Spin Chances by Rarity

RarityNormal Style SpinLucky Style SpinStyles in Game
Common62.5%0%6
Rare35%50%4
Legendary2%45%7
Godly0.49%4.5%4
Secret0.01%0.5%19
Ultra0.005%0.25%4
Evo0.005%0.25%1

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Normal Style Spins cost 100 Yen each, while Ability Spins cost 250 Yen.
  • Lucky Spins come from codes, the Season Pass, update day giveaways, and Robux. On some update days, the game hands out free Lucky Spins every 10 minutes for two hours.
  • You need to be Level 15 before you can roll Secret, Ultra, or Evo styles.
  • Abilities use the same idea. A Lucky Ability Spin has a 0.5% Secret chance, compared to 0.01% on a normal Ability Spin.

How Pity Works in Volleyball Legends?

  • Normal pity: Every 50 Style Spins, you get a guaranteed roll from the higher rarities, which is usually a Legendary with a small shot at Godly or Secret.
  • Secret pity: Kicks in at 200 Lucky Spins, or just 100 during a 2x Lucky event. Set your preferred Secret before you spin, since pity works toward the style you have selected. It does not always lock in that exact style, so don’t bank everything on it.
  • Ultra and Evo pity: Sits at 400 Lucky Style Spins and has dropped to 200 during some events.
  • Ability pity: Works the same way, with Secret ability pity at 200 Lucky Ability Spins, or 100 during a 2x Lucky event.

Smart Spinning Tips

  • Pick your preference first: Click the style you want in the Styles menu so the green dot shows up next to it. Do this before every long spinning session.
  • Save Lucky Spins for 2x Lucky events: These events double the Secret chance from 0.5% to 1% and cut pity in half. They have been running on most recent update weekends, so patience pays off.
  • Redeem codes on every update: New codes land almost every Saturday. Our Volleyball Legends codes list is the quickest way to grab them before they expire.
  • Buy extra slots early: Since Update 90, slots cost Gems instead of game passes, and your third slot only costs 20 Gems. More slots mean you never have to delete a good roll to try for a better one.
  • Don’t chase rarity blindly: A Godly Okazu you can actually play will win more games than a Secret that does not suit you.

Factors Affecting our Volleyball Legends Tier List

We did not throw styles into tiers at random. Every placement in this Volleyball Legends tier list comes from tracking a few key factors. Check them out below:

  • Match Impact: How often a style wins or saves points on its own. Specials that redirect, parry, or power up the ball weigh heavily here.
  • Specials and Mastery: Ultra and Evo styles keep getting stronger as you level them, which is why they sit above even the best Secrets.
  • Stat Spread: Maxed stats in the right places for a role, and how badly a single low stat can be punished.
  • Skill Floor: Some styles, like Kijo and Yogan, need a lot of practice before they pay off. We ranked them on what an average player can realistically get out of them.
  • Availability: Rarity alone never moves a style up, but we flagged which picks are limited so you know what is actually worth planning your spins around.
  • Community Rankings: We cross checked our placements against community tier lists, ranked player feedback, and every patch up to Update 92 to make sure the rankings match what is happening in real matches.

Volleyball Legends Tier List FAQs

What is the best style in Volleyball Legends right now?

Encho and Ronin top our Volleyball Legends tier list right now. Encho fits every role thanks to its Stretch special, while the reworked Ronin is the strongest pure spiker. Akari, Hakka, and the new Mamori complete the S+ tier.

What is the best Secret style in Volleyball Legends?

Riku is the best Secret style overall, thanks to holographic walls that redirect the ball. The Twins, Feiko, Ibara, Timeskip Kyamo, Hidari, Shiro, and Roketto are right behind it.

What is the best ability in Volleyball Legends?

Shield Breaker is the best ability for most players since it lets your spikes power through blocks. Extra Touch and Magnetic Pull are the top utility picks, and Redirection Jump is the best ability outside the Secret rarity.

What is the best non Secret style in Volleyball Legends?

Okazu is the best Godly style, with maxed Jump and Serve plus 90% Set. Kyamo, Bakuri, and Hirakumi are great too, and all four stay in the permanent spin pool.

What is the rarest style in Volleyball Legends?

Ultra and Evo styles are the rarest at 0.005% on a normal spin and 0.25% on a Lucky Style Spin. That makes Encho, Ronin, Akari, Hakka, and Mamori the hardest styles to roll.

Is Mamori worth spinning for in Volleyball Legends?

Yes, especially if you play blocker. Mamori is an Ultra that parries the ball back and knocks opponents away, and its Mastery adds Speed, Block, and longer parry windows. It is only available until October 31, 2026, so spin during a 2x Lucky event if you can.

Can limited styles come back in Volleyball Legends?

Yes. Limited styles like Ronin, Hakka, Jinko, and The Twins have all returned during later updates. There is no fixed schedule though, so check where they sit on this Volleyball Legends tier list and grab them while their window is open.

Is Volleyball Legends the same as Haikyuu Legends?

Yes. Volleyball Legends was originally called Haikyuu Legends, and many of its styles are inspired by characters from the Haikyuu anime. That is why older guides still use the Haikyuu Legends tier list name.

How often does the Volleyball Legends tier list change?

Volleyball Legends updates every Saturday, and new styles, returns, and reworks can shift the rankings fast. Bookmark this Volleyball Legends tier list and check back after each big update.
