Is Palworld Cross Platform?
Yes, Palworld supports cross-platform play across PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Mac. This feature was added in the March 2025 v0.5.0 update. Now, players on Steam, Xbox Game Pass, PS5, and Mac can join the same multiplayer world and play together.
The update also introduced the Global Palbox, which lets players transfer Pals between worlds. Other additions include Dimensional Pal Storage, Cosmetic Armour, Photo Mode, and dedicated servers for Mac.

How to enable (and disable) crossplay in Palworld?
You can easily enable or disable Palworld crossplay through your world settings. Follow these steps:
- Open Palworld and select the world you want to play in.
- Select your multiplayer world from the world list.
- Choose Change World Settings before starting the game.
- Find the Cross-Play option.
- Turn Cross-Play ON to play with friends on other platforms.
- Turn Cross-Play OFF to play only with users on the same platform.
- Save your settings and start the world.
Note that only the host needs to change the cross-play setting. Once enabled, friends on other platforms can join the same world, explore bases, catch Pals, and fight bosses together.
Does Palworld Have Cross-Progression?
No, Palworld does not support full cross-progression. This means your character, save data, and world progress do not automatically transfer between different platforms. For example, if you play Palworld on Steam and switch to PS5, you cannot automatically continue from your previous save.
However, Palworld does have the Global Palbox feature. It allows you to transfer Pals between different worlds, but it does not transfer your character or complete game progress. So, while Palworld supports crossplay, it does not offer full cross-progression.
