Anime Crusaders Tier List (October 2026): All Units Ranked From Best to Worst

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Anime Crusaders has grown into one of the busiest anime tower defense games on Roblox, and after the Berserk themed Update 6, the roster has crossed 100 units. That is a lot of Secrets, Mythics, and Crusaders to sort through when you only get six team slots, and never have enough Gems. This Anime Crusaders tier list ranks every evolved Secret, Crusader, Mythic, and meta Legendary unit. Check out the complete list of all units below!

S-Tier Units

See all the operators in this tier:

Beyond Heaven

Hybrid unit, True damage, Lightning element

Beyond Heaven is the strongest all round unit in the game right now. The moment he lands, he puts a Timestop on every enemy in range and ignores shields. He can also swap between four modes that either lock enemies down with slows and stuns or crank up his damage with Bleed and bonus hits on controlled targets. On top of that, his map wide Timestop hits every enemy on the field and cuts his cooldown, and the damage boost lingers after time starts moving again. The only real downside is that you can place him just once.

Puci (Made in Heaven)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Puci is half carry and half support, and both halves are elite. False Memory Injection stuns enemies for 3 seconds on every hit, while Inescapable Frame makes stuck enemies take double damage from all sources every 10 seconds. He also tags bosses with a Bleed that scales with his damage, and Time Acceleration cuts his cooldown by 2% each time he hits the same enemy. His 9th upgrade unlocks Universal Reset, which cuts nearby allies’ cooldowns by 50% and boosts their crit chance. It has a 200 second global cooldown, so save it for boss waves. The evolved Crusader version comes from Expedition Mode.

Vegeto

Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Water and Light elements

Vegeto is the fusion of Goko and Vejita, so you need both in your lineup to use him. He cannot be stunned and stuns enemies back when they try, and every 20 seconds he lands a heavy hit that slows enemies almost to a full stop. Hitting the same target three times shortens his cooldown, which makes him brutal against bosses, and he executes regular enemies once their HP drops low. Huge damage and range on a cheap upgrade path is why he sits this high.

Sun God vs Dragon

Ground Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Rose element

This collision unit hits in full AoE from placement all the way to max upgrade and fires an AoE burst before every attack. Enemies take more damage the longer they stay in its range, so pair it with slows and stuns. Toon World switches its damage to True damage and even hands out buffs on missed attacks, but it also clears crowd control from enemies while active. To unlock it, you need both Sun God and Dragon plus a quest chain. Sun God itself cannot be rerolled or evolved because it works as evolution material.

Akuzo vs Renkuro

Hybrid unit after evolution, Physical damage, Water and Fire elements

The first Crusader rarity unit in the game evolves from the Akuzo Mythic and turns Hybrid with a big damage jump. It applies Burn, makes enemies take 15% more Physical damage, and always targets the strongest enemy in range, which melts bosses. It deals even more damage to burning enemies, so a Burn partner like Chonin (Flame Master) makes it terrifying. The developers have buffed it more than once, but it is still one of the hardest units to get.

Dracula (Vampire King)

Hybrid unit after upgrades, Magic damage, Dark element

Dracula is the best Dark unit in the game and a Crusader rarity pull from the Halloween banner. He applies Bleed, gains up to 25% damage and 10% faster attacks from kills, and his Blood Thirsty aura makes enemies in his range take 10% more damage from your whole team. His ultimate mode pushes his DPS even higher and summons hounds that deal damage and speed him up. Expect to spend a lot of Yen to place and upgrade him.

Gilgamesh (The Golden King)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Light element

Gilgamesh boosts his own crit chance and crit damage, shreds enemy armor, and stacks extra damage and range as the match goes on, up to a limit. His Enuma Elish nuke deals triple his damage to everything in range and also executes regular enemies at low HP, which is perfect for Infinity Castle. He drops from a raid, so be ready for a grind.

Jootaru (The World)

Ground Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Ice element

The Star passive adds 5% damage for every consecutive hit on the same target, up to 30%. He spreads a 15% Magic debuff across enemies in range for 30 seconds, and every Timestop triggers an AoE burst plus a 200% damage boost on his next attack. He is cheap to place and scales well in range. The catch is that his best tricks depend on an active ability with a cooldown of up to 40 seconds. He comes from the Platinum Portal.

Ayzen (Perfect)

Ground Hybrid unit, True damage

Ayzen stuns enemies when they enter and leave his range and hits them for full damage on the way out. He slows everything in his range and deals extra damage to slowed targets, breaks shields, and his Singularity passive drags flying enemies down to the ground. Two evolution steps make him a long project, and he has no element, but the kit is worth every stone.

Zero (True Emperor)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Light element

Zero is a support that also carries. He gives nearby units 10% more damage, hands out chess piece buffs to specific allies, summons a tanky Knight every 100 seconds, and at max upgrade fires a 2000% damage nuke on every enemy on the map once per match. He is pricey to upgrade and needs some attention during a run, but no other unit gives this much team value. He drops from a raid.

Cell (Ultra Perfect)

Hill unit, Physical damage, Dark element

Cell is the best Hill unit in the current meta. He deals extra damage to flying enemies, reaches full AoE early in his upgrades, and can absorb an ally to gain bonus damage based on that unit’s cost. You can even place a single placement unit again after Cell absorbs it. He is cheap to place and upgrade, with great range. His attack goes back to a wider cone late in the upgrade path, which is his only real weakness.

Goko (Perfected Ultimate)

Hill unit, Magic damage, Light element

When an enemy walks into his range, Goko spawns an afterimage at the bottom of his hill that deals half his damage, so you get two attackers out of one slot. Kills have a small chance to drop Ki Orbs that boost his damage. He is also very cheap to place and upgrade, which makes him easy to fit into any team. Do not confuse him with Goko (Perfected Super III), a different Hill unit further down this list.

Freeran (Timeless Mage)

Hill unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Freeran is a boss deleter. Her boss nuke passive instantly deals five times her damage when a boss steps into her range. She builds Mana from placement and from every attack, then spends it on spells that add heavy bonus damage, switch her attack from a cone to full AoE, and apply Black Flames.

Soi Fun (Death Sting)

Hill unit, Physical damage, Wind element

Soi Fun hits harder on every second attack, stacks damage with each kill, and executes enemies at low HP. She is cheap and has excellent range and attack speed for a Hill unit. Bring Yorinchi (Flash) along to shorten her cooldowns and she gets even better.

Sin (Seven Seas)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Sin rotates through Eras that each give different buffs, and once the Era stacks are full, he gets every Era bonus at once for 60 seconds. His Lux Noxia ability lets you either buff your allies’ damage and range or pump up his own damage instead. Choosing himself puts a debuff on allies, so pick based on whether he is your main carry.

Mr. Champion

Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Fire element, Legendary rarity

Do not let the Legendary tag fool you. Mr. Champion boosts the Physical damage of nearby units by up to 80%, costs very little to place, and hits both ground and air. A huge chunk of the meta deals Physical damage, so he is one of the best value units you can pull. The buff does not stack with a second copy.

Useless Goddess

Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Water element, Legendary rarity

Think of her as the Magic version of Mr. Champion. Useless Goddess boosts the Magic damage of nearby units by up to 80%, which makes her a must for Magic heavy teams and multi placement units like Karakuri. She costs a lot more to upgrade, so she shines in raids and long runs where Magic damage is the recommended type.

A-Tier Units

See all the units in this tier:

Ishtall

Hill unit, Magic damage, Water element

Ishtall gains extra crit chance and crit damage, and every crit adds a little damage and range up to a cap. At the start of each wave, she receives a random Blessing that boosts damage, cooldown, range, or crit chance. Roll the same Blessing twice in a row and its effect doubles.

Golden Spirit (Divine)

Hill unit, Magic damage, Light element

Golden Spirit deals a burst of damage when enemies first enter his range and keeps ramping up damage on enemies that stay inside it. Later upgrades add Golden Missiles for even more DPS. His attack speed is slow, so pair him with faster units that clean up stragglers.

Esdead (Ice Empress)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Ice element

Every 10th kill, Esdead summons a fallen enemy to fight for her, and when that summon dies, she buffs allies in her range. She also gets stronger when Ice enemies are near her. She is good on her own but great with Freeze or Timestop units on the team.

Vejita (Ultimate Majin)

Ground unit, Magic damage

Vejita has excellent base stats and a unique trick. He spends in match money to power up his next attack, and at max upgrade his attacks turn into full AoE. He is a strong Tournament pick and does his best work with Goko in range.

Kurimi (Time Queen)

Ground Hybrid unit, True damage, Fire element

Kurimi spawns up to three clones that deal 30% of her damage and can hit flying enemies. She gains 30% more damage after 30 seconds on the field, and her Zaphkiel’s Clockwork ultimate freezes time on enemies in range for 10 seconds while powering up her clones. Kills shorten its long cooldown. Her base damage is low, so treat her as a control carry rather than a pure damage dealer.

AI (Idol)

Ground unit, Magic damage

AI buffs the damage and HP of every ally on the map by 15% and lowers the upgrade costs of all your units. She barely deals damage herself, but that global buff makes her a top support in nearly every mode, especially long Infinite runs.

Speedcart

Farm unit, Epic rarity

Speedcart generates Yen every wave, is easy to pull, and costs very little to upgrade. Faster cash means your expensive carries get maxed sooner, which is why Speedcart shows up on almost every team, Tournament lineups included. Switch to Loid later if you want more total income.

Brulo (Rage)

Ground Hybrid unit after upgrades, Magic damage, Wind element

Brulo was a launch favorite and still holds up well. He sets off a burst explosion on every 10th attack, gains extra damage for every enemy in his range, and has great damage and range. He attacks slowly, costs a lot to upgrade, and only turns Hybrid after a few upgrades.

Sun Woo (System)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Dark element

Sun Woo summons shadows that roughly double his damage, and his evolved form adds an elite shadow that copies his stats. He also buffs other Solo Leveling units like Igrith. He came from a limited event banner, so check whether he is available again before saving Gems for him.

Powaa (Blood Queen)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Powaa applies Bleed on hit, which fills her blood meter. After enough takedowns she ascends and lets you pick a path: more AoE for wave clearing, stronger Bleed, or turning Hybrid. She is slow to get going, so she fits Infinite much better than short story stages.

Maki (Authority)

Ground unit, True damage, Dark element

Maki gains more damage and faster attacks for every enemy in her range, collects souls from kills that boost her damage and range, and every five souls her next hit deals 231% bonus damage. Her range is short, so place her right on a busy stretch of the path. She comes from Boss Rush.

Coyote (Number One)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Coyote’s double attack either hits the last enemy in range or deals extra damage when only one enemy is around, which makes him great at finishing bosses. He summons a wolf on takedowns that explodes for damage when it dies, and he can fire a beam for big burst damage on a long cooldown. He is also cheap to place and upgrade.

Psycho

Ground unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Psycho stacks damage and range with every kill and passively deals a share of his damage to every enemy in his range. Once his meter fills, you pick one of three boosts: 50% more damage, Hybrid targeting, or 20% more damage for all allies. He takes a while to stack and needs you to manage his meter, so he is not ideal for AFK grinding.

Seraph (Fallen)

Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Light element

Seraph is Hybrid right from placement, which makes him a great progression unit. He boosts nearby allies’ damage and makes enemies take more Magic damage. Every 60 seconds he enters a 30 second state with True damage, 50% more damage, and 25% faster attacks. He is easy to get from the standard banner and pairs nicely with Ake.

Yomomoto (Inferno)

Ground Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Yomomoto burns enemies on placement, deals more damage as enemies walk closer to him, and spawns a fire tornado for extra Burn. He also raises skeletons on takedowns. He only turns Hybrid near the end of his upgrades, so he is at his best in Infinite stages. He comes from the Inferno Portal.

King

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, multiple elements

King is one of the best free units in Anime Crusaders, since he was handed out through log in rewards. He gets a big stat buff for 8 seconds every 25 seconds, burns enemies for 35% of his damage, and is the cheapest unit to turn Hybrid. Multiple elements make him flexible in element based modes, and he does especially well in Tournaments. His raw DPS is good rather than great.

Jolin (Stone Fate)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Rose element

Jolin binds enemies until they leave her range. Bound enemies get a 35% slow, take 30% more damage from her, and lose 15% Physical resistance, which helps your whole team. That makes her both a control unit and a solid damage dealer, though everything depends on the Bind landing.

Ichi (Masked Vizard)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element

This Ichi evolution is cheap to build and has great attack speed, range, and damage. Hollowfication raises his crit chance over time, and once it maxes out he activates Hollow Mask for bonus damage. His kit is simple, but simple and strong is exactly what you want from a budget Ground carry.

Excalibur (King of Blades)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Wind element

Every third attack is a guaranteed crit, and every 10 kills she gains a little more damage and crit chance. She deals extra damage to enemies under crowd control, and kills on those enemies speed up her attacks. Put her next to stunners and slowers or she loses a lot of value.

Spear (Vigorous Warrior)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Spear has huge crit chance, but he only targets the strongest enemy in range, which makes him a boss specialist. Landing crits triggers a Rune that boosts his damage, cooldown, or Bleed, and he applies Bleed to enemies. He was nerfed to one active Rune at a time, but he is still cheap and effective.

Hidoh (Deathless Reaper)

Ground Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Hidoh doubles the Bleed damage of nearby units and deals 50% more damage to bleeding enemies. His active ability slashes every enemy in range for a big burst every 20 seconds. His own DPS is modest, but next to Dracula and other Bleed units he becomes a monster.

Rio

Ground unit, Physical damage, Wind element

Every fifth hit, Rio removes 10% of the enemy’s HP, which is great against tanky bosses. She also buffs a random ally with 30% damage and 15% range, and that buff skips farm and buff units, so it lands on your damage dealers. She comes from Infinity Castle.

Grey (Ice Mage)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Ice element

Grey gains damage and attack speed on every kill, and every 24 seconds he calls a blizzard that slows enemies by 55%, deals extra damage, and even hits flying enemies. He also gets stronger while the blizzard is active. His range is a bit short.

B-Tier Units

See all the units in this tier:

Toshiru (Glacial Captain)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Ice element

Toshiru gains extra damage and range when he is the strongest unit in his own range, and each attack creates Water Bubbles that deal 40% of his damage, up to three at a time. The bubbles can occasionally hit flyers, but do not count on it. Placement takes some care.

Rain (Heavy)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Weather Rhythm gives every third attack 50% bonus damage and a cooldown cut. His weather ability lasts 60 seconds and lets you boost Lightning units, apply Burn, or slow enemies. A 120 second global cooldown keeps it from being spammed.

Tengin (God of Echoes)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Tengin’s crit chance climbs with every hit that does not crit, and his crits throw Explosion Marbles that deal small AoE damage. He reaches full AoE when upgraded. He lost some value after a nerf took away his ability to hit flying enemies.

Claw

Ground unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Claw deals 30% more damage to enemies he has already hit, carries a permanent 50% damage bonus, and ignores shields. The catch is that he lowers the damage of allies near him, so place him away from the rest of your team. He is also expensive to upgrade.

Getu (Master of Curses)

Hybrid summoner, Magic damage, Dark element

Getu’s summons are very tanky and can attack both ground and air enemies, and his HP grows with every kill. That makes him strong against bosses and great at plugging leaks. He is one of the friendliest units for story progression, but he is very expensive to place and upgrade.

Igrith (Blood Commander)

Ground Hybrid unit after evolution, Physical damage, Rose element

Igrith gets stronger with Sun Woo on the field and buffs nearby allies’ damage whenever Sun Woo lands a kill. On his own he is fine, but the Sun Woo combo is what makes him worth a slot, and running both eats two of your six spots.

Denshi

Ground Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Denshi applies a Bleed worth 25% of his damage, hits for 200% bonus damage on every fifth attack against the same enemy, and gains damage and range for each different female unit in his range. Build around Maki, Kurimi, and other female units, plus Bleed support like Hidoh, to get the most out of him.

Shadow (Atomic)

Ground Hybrid unit, True damage, Dark element

Shadow deals bonus damage to stunned enemies, has a 22.5% crit chance, and can hit flyers. He needs a reliable stunner like Shunks (Haki) to reach his ceiling. Slow attacks and high upgrade costs keep him out of A tier.

Karakuri

Ground unit, Physical and Magic damage

Karakuri hits in full AoE, deals 50% more damage on the first attack of each wave, and can stun every enemy in range for 10 seconds with his active. Since he deals both Physical and Magic damage, both Mr. Champion and Useless Goddess buff him. Skip the Crusader trait on him because his three placements matter more.

Rose (Fallen Blossom)

Physical damage, Rose element, Secret rarity

This is the Secret Rose, not the Legendary one. She has one of the highest base damage stats in the game, blasts enemies for 200% damage on placement, and plants bombs that explode for 300% AoE damage. She is one of the most expensive units to upgrade and attacks slowly, so she belongs in long modes like Infinite.

Nagu (Blade Trickster)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Dark element

Nagu’s Disguise lets him copy the stats of an ally, so he can fill almost any role. He also has high base crit chance and crit damage, and if you stack his passive and copy your best carry, the damage gets silly. He attacks slowly and takes time to set up, which is why Infinite suits him best.

Lao (Heart)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Water element

Lao has no passive at all. What he does have is massive base damage, good attack speed, and solid range. He is a simple, consistent Ground DPS that is very expensive to place and upgrade.

Boo (Ultimate)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Rose element

Boo gains damage every time an enemy dies near him, and once he builds enough stacks he starts doing echo attacks that follow up his normal hits. He is a strong Mythic for Infinite, but placing and upgrading him is costly.

Bones

Ground unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Bones gains damage with every kill, up to 50%. Once that is maxed, Final Movement sets his crit chance to 100% and lowers the cooldowns of nearby allies. He is a nice secondary DPS for long modes like Infinite, but his range is short.

Reijin

Ground unit, Magic damage, Rose element

Reijin gains damage for every Magic unit in his range, deals 25% more damage to bosses, and unleashes a 1000% damage burst every 30 seconds. Low base damage and steep upgrade costs keep him in B tier.

Byaku (Petal Storm)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Rose element

Byaku deals extra damage to enemies at very high or very low HP. Stacking six Petals on one enemy causes an explosion that can even hit flyers, and he gets bonus damage when fewer enemies are in his range. Place him on a quieter part of the path.

Blur

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element

Blur is a pure debuff support. Every attack slows enemies by 50% for 4 seconds and makes them take 10% more damage from all sources. Ignore her damage and focus on getting her cooldown as low as possible.

Yorinchi (Flash)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Every attack stuns, her first hit on an enemy deals double damage, and her crits shorten her cooldown. She is a fine stunner on her own and the best partner for Soi Fun (Death Sting).

Kisoka (Strategist)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Kisoka boosts the range of every unit in his range and gives an extra boost to one unit you choose. He has great attack speed and good damage, but he can only be placed once and the extra range buff depends on luck.

Chaos Mage (Darkness)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Dark element

Chaos Mage applies Decay so he deals more damage to those enemies, raises his own crit chance, and stuns for 3 seconds on every crit. His Black Sun meter fills as he attacks, and at 100% it boosts both his damage and attack speed.

Goju (Supreme)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Water element

Goju has very high base damage and range and can stun enemies, so he doubles as a support. His attacks are slow and his upgrades are expensive, so he works best when you have money to spare.

Shunks (Haki)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Shunks deals bonus damage and attacks faster against low HP enemies, and he stuns enemies for 3 seconds every 15 seconds. That stun sets up units like Shadow (Atomic) and Enol (Drums). His range is the worst among Mythics and he is expensive to upgrade.

Fat Hitman (Serious)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Light element

Fat Hitman gets big damage and cooldown boosts after 25 and 50 attacks, and he has a small chance to attack twice, gaining extra damage if that second hit gets a kill. He is slow to warm up and costly, so he belongs in Infinite where he has time to stack.

Toju (Mercenary)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Toju adds Bleed worth 30% of his damage, gets stronger with each hit on the same enemy, and has a small chance to deal pure True damage. That makes him one of the best Mythic boss killers. His attack speed is slow.

Chonin (Flame Master)

Hill unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Chonin adds a Burn worth 30% of his damage and deals 150% bonus damage to Frozen enemies, with excellent range. He also switches on Akuzo vs Renkuro’s bonus damage against burning enemies, which is the main reason to run him today.

Loid

Farm unit

Loid generates more total Yen than Speedcart, which makes him the better farm for long runs. He costs far more to upgrade than Speedcart and cannot be sold, so place him with a plan.

Shaoten (Dizzy)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Rose element

Shaoten has high base damage and range, and her Dizzy Mode gives a massive DPS boost at the cost of slower attacks and the odd missed hit. With good luck she can rival Secret damage, but she needs some babysitting.

Slime (Demon Lord)

Magic damage, Water element

Slime has great damage and range, and his devour passive boosts his damage when he finishes off enemies. He was a free Mythic from the first Battle Pass, but he is expensive to place and upgrade.

Heisou (Bird Sniper)

Hill unit, Physical damage, Wind element

Heisou has some of the longest range in the game, gains up to 20% damage on consecutive hits, and always crits on his fifth attack. Every 50 seconds his range spikes even further for a short time. You can only place three of him.

Goko (Perfected Super III)

Hill unit, Magic damage, Light element

This Goko deals extra damage to flying enemies and gains damage and crit chance for every 10 kills. He is a strong budget Hill option for Infinite, though a little expensive to upgrade.

C-Tier Units

See all the units in this tier:

Ranje (Reckless Fighter)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Ranje deals extra damage to enemies on the outer edge of his range and has a chance to attack twice. He is cheap to upgrade with good attack speed. Place him so enemies walk through the edge of his circle for as long as possible.

Ghost-san

Ground unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Ghost-san applies a Burn worth 50% of his damage, gains a small stacking damage buff with each kill, and summons a clone at 300 takedowns that deals half his damage. It takes forever to get going, so he only makes sense in Infinite.

Kanpechi (Born for Battle)

Ground unit, True damage, Light element

Kanpechi targets the strongest enemy and deals extra damage to bosses and armor. His ability trades range for more damage and stuns enemies while active. He has good attack speed and range for a four placement unit.

Ake

Ground unit, Physical damage, Dark element

Ake summons a fox that deals AoE damage based on how many enemies are around it, and he buffs himself and Seraph when they are close to each other. With Seraph nearby, the fox also comes out more often. Without Seraph, he is just okay.

Ryoma

Ground unit, Physical damage, Water element

Ryoma ramps damage on the same target and can execute regular enemies below 10% HP, cutting his own cooldown when he does. He is great against bosses, weaker against big waves, and slow to attack.

Haein (Sword Queen)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Light element

Haein marks enemies and deals extra damage to them, and every fifth attack hits harder. The marks land on random enemies, so you cannot aim them at bosses.

Daume

Hill unit, Magic damage, Rose element

Daume has great range, applies Bleed, and gains damage when enemies die in her range or when more than 15 enemies pack into it. She clears crowds well but has low base damage.

Hako (Silent Frost)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Rose element

Hako gets a damage and attack speed buff every time he hits a Frozen enemy and creates an Ice Clone that attacks the farthest enemy before shattering. He is cheap, but he needs Freeze units like Grey (Ice Mage) to work.

Enmo

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element

Enmo puts enemies to Sleep with his attacks, and enemies that die while asleep explode in a small AoE. He is good for clearing groups and poor against bosses.

Giu

Ground unit, Physical damage, Water element

Giu deals bonus damage to enemies entering his range for the first time, and his Flowing Calm state slows enemies and turns him Hybrid. His DPS is underwhelming, and his main job is powering up Tanjuru.

Sweet Witch

Ground unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Sweet Witch gains attack and range after not attacking for 12 seconds, and her attacks make enemies take more Magic damage. She is a handy debuffer in Magic teams and comes from Infinity Castle.

Kuzen (Blue Admiral)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Ice element

Kuzen freezes enemies for 2.5 seconds, and frozen enemies take a stronger follow up hit. He suffers a few debuffs on his first attack of each wave, which then flip into buffs for the rest of that wave.

Tanjuru

Ground Hybrid unit after evolution, Physical damage, Light element

Tanjuru gets damage and attack speed buffs with Giu in range and gains bonus damage when enemies die near him. He works in Infinite, but his boss damage is low.

Ukia

Ground unit, Magic damage, Rose element, Legendary rarity

Ukia freezes enemies on hit and deals almost no damage. That freeze is exactly why she is a top story support and an easy pull from the standard banner.

Koichy

Ground unit, Physical damage, Wind element, Legendary rarity

Koichy slows enemies on hit. He is a solid budget support for story mode, though he deals almost no damage and costs more to place than you would expect.

GreyBeard

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element, Legendary rarity

GreyBeard makes enemies take more Magic damage when he hits them and works as a cheap AoE support. Like Ukia and Koichy, he is all utility and no damage.

Ant King (Shadow Fang)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Ant King has strong raw stats across damage, attack speed, and range, but no special passive. He is decent in the mid game and expensive to upgrade for a Mythic.

Hie (Black Dragon)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element

Hie has good attack speed and range and does more work against enemies below half HP, which helps against bosses. He was a free Battle Pass Mythic, but his base damage is low.

Enol (Drums)

Ground Hybrid unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Enol is Hybrid from placement, gets a big damage, range, and attack speed boost every 10th attack, and deals bonus damage to disabled enemies. He has some of the lowest base stats among Mythics, so he needs a stunner next to him.

Ichi (Dusk)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Dark element

Ichi (Dusk) creates a large AoE explosion after hitting the same enemy three times, and each explosion speeds up his attacks and raises his crit chance. He is expensive for a four placement unit, and his Masked Vizard evolution is far better.

Golden Freezo

Hill unit, Magic damage, Light element, Legendary rarity

Golden Freezo is the best Legendary Hill unit for new players, with good damage and decent range. He attacks slowly and costs a lot for a Legendary, so replace him as soon as you pull a Mythic Hill unit.

D-Tier Units

See all the units in this tier:

Ries

Hill unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Ries buffs the range and damage of Fire units in her range, applies Burn, and hits harder with a Fire unit nearby. She has the lowest DPS of any Mythic and only makes sense in a full Fire team.

Milia (Silver Witch)

Ground unit, Magic damage, Ice element

Milia boosts the damage of Ice units in her range and slows enemies by 50% for four seconds after attacking. Without a full Ice team, there is little reason to run her.

Kurim (Hot Ice)

Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Fire element

Kurim is Hybrid from placement and gets strong buffs against Fire enemies. His hits apply a Frozen Mark that lets Ice units deal extra damage to that enemy. Very niche.

Heavenly Author

Ground unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Heavenly Author boosts the damage over time effects of allies in range, deals more damage to enemies suffering from those effects, and has a small chance to attack again. His small range holds him back, and the boost does not stack.

Space Hand

Ground unit, True damage, Water element

Space Hand deals double damage when only one enemy is in range and slows enemies by 40%. Blur does the slowing job much better.

Ureo

Hill unit, Magic damage, Dark element, Legendary rarity

Ureo is a cheap budget Hill unit that falls behind Golden Freezo quickly. He is fine for your first few story stages and nothing more.

Edwao

Ground unit, Magic damage, Lightning element

Edwao gains damage for every 20 seconds he spends on the field and deals 20% more damage with Alfonz out. Without Alfonz, he is forgettable. He was a free Battle Pass unit.

Alfonz

Ground unit, Magic damage, Wind element

Alfonz gets big buffs as long as he keeps attacking, so he needs a spot where enemies never stop coming. Otherwise his DPS is low and his attacks are slow. He was also a Battle Pass unit.

Vejita (Ape)

Ground unit, Physical damage, Dark element

A Tournament unit with okay damage and cheap upgrades but no passives. He needs buffs from units like Mr. Champion just to keep up with other Ground units.

Monkey God

Hybrid unit, Physical damage, Lightning element

Monkey God is Hybrid from placement with good stats and more placements than Vejita (Ape), but he also has no passives. He is not worth a premium trait reroll.

Jiro

Ground unit, Magic damage, Fire element

Jiro is cheap and does not need to be evolved. He gets 25% more damage with the Mythic Goko nearby and a little extra for each unit in range, but his base damage is among the worst in the game.

Kensu

Ground unit, Physical damage, Wind element

Kensu is cheap and needs no evolution, but with no passives at all he is the weakest Mythic DPS in the game.

Newest Anime Crusaders Units From Update 5.0, 5.5, and Update 6

Anime Crusaders adds units faster than anyone can fully test them. The units below are already in the game, but their full kits are not documented reliably yet, so their abilities are marked TBA and their tiers are provisional. Placements are based on where these units show up on current meta boards and Infinite teams. They will move into the main Anime Crusaders tier list once their kits are confirmed.

Best Anime Crusaders Units by Role

A letter grade on any Anime Crusaders tier list only tells half the story. A team with three Hybrid carries and no farm unit runs out of money in Infinite, and a team with no Hill or Hybrid unit leaks every flying wave. Use this table to fill each job with the best unit you own.

RoleBest PicksBudget Picks

Best Anime Crusaders Teams to Build

You can only bring six units, so give each slot a clear job:

  1. Farm: Speedcart early, Loid once you can afford his upgrades.
  2. Buffer: Mr. Champion for Physical teams, Useless Goddess for Magic teams, or AI (Idol) for mixed lineups.
  3. Main carry: your best Hybrid unit.
  4. Second carry: a Ground or Hybrid unit that matches your buffer’s damage type.
  5. Hill unit: a dedicated flyer killer like Cell (Ultra Perfect) or Goko (Perfected Ultimate).
  6. Control or second support: Puci, Kurimi, Blur, or a budget slower like Ukia.

In raids, always check the recommended damage type. A lower tier unit with the right damage type often beats a higher tier unit with the wrong one.

Best Traits for Anime Crusaders Units

Traits are passive bonuses rolled on each unit, and the right one can push an A tier unit close to S tier power. You reroll traits and stat grades in the Evolve area, and you can earn rerolls from story, events, and codes. The roll chances below are approximate values reported by the community.

TraitRoll ChanceEffectBest On
CrusaderAbout 0.1%300% more damage, 10% more range, 10% faster attacks, but limits the unit to one placementYour main single placement carry
RadiantAbout 0.2%27.5% more damage, 15% more range, 15% faster attacksAlmost any DPS unit
BiohazardAbout 0.15%Adds toxic damage over time and 10% more rangeLong boss fights
AuroraAbout 0.36%10% more damage, 20% extra True damage, 25% more rangeUnits that need more range
EclipseAbout 0.8%22.5% more damage and 25% more damage to bossesBoss and raid specialists
OverdriveAbout 1.5%20% faster attacksSlow, hard hitting units
GildedAbout 5%30% more money and 10% cheaper upgradesFarm units like Speedcart

Crusader is the dream roll, but it is a trap on multi placement units like Karakuri, where Radiant or Biohazard gives you more total damage. Curses are a separate system you reroll through the Sukuna NPC. A good curse helps, but a bad one can wreck a unit’s damage, so treat curse rolls as a gamble.

How to Get New Units in Anime Crusaders?

Most units come from the Summon area in the lobby. Here is how summoning works:

  1. Walk into the Summon area or press the Summon button in the side menu.
  2. Check which units are featured on the banner and open the odds before you pull.
  3. Summon once for 50 Gems or ten times for 500 Gems.
  4. Switch to the Special or Event banner tabs for limited units.

Each banner has its own pity counter, and community pull data puts the guaranteed Mythic at around 400 summons and the guaranteed Legendary at around 50. Banners also rotate, so wait until the unit you want is featured before you dump Gems.

Plenty of top units never appear on a regular banner. Zero, Gilgamesh, and Nagu drop from raids. Jootaru, Kurimi, Tengin, and Yomomoto come from portals. Maki comes from Boss Rush, Rio and Sweet Witch come from Infinity Castle, and Tournament units like Jiro and Kensu come from Tournament rewards.

If you are short on Gems, farm story stages, Challenges, and raids, use the AFK Chamber next to the Summon area, and redeem the newest Anime Crusaders codes for free Gems and rerolls.

How to Evolve Units in Anime Crusaders?

Evolution is where Mythic and Secret units get their real power, and every ranking in this Anime Crusaders tier list assumes the evolved form. Here is the process:

  1. Go to the Evolve area in the lobby and select the unit you want to evolve.
  2. Gather the required evolution materials. Most evolutions need elemental stones like Earth Stone, Divine Stone, or Air Stone, which mostly drop from Challenge stages, along with unit specific items from raids, events, or shops.
  3. Defeat the required number of enemies while using that unit.
  4. Confirm the evolution once every requirement is complete.

Some units, like Ayzen, need two evolutions before they reach their final form. Evolve your main carries first and do not waste rare materials on units you plan to bench.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1. What is the best unit in Anime Crusaders right now?

Beyond Heaven and Puci (Made in Heaven) are the strongest fully documented units, thanks to their mix of damage, Timestop, and stuns. Goju VS Sukuno from Update 5.5 is also a top Infinite carry, though his full kit is still being tested.

Q2. Who is the best support unit in Anime Crusaders?

Mr. Champion and Useless Goddess are the best buffers, boosting Physical or Magic damage by up to 80%. AI (Idol) is the best all purpose support because her 15% damage and HP buff covers your whole map, while Zero (True Emperor) mixes team buffs with huge damage.

Q3. What is the best farm unit in Anime Crusaders?

Speedcart is the best early farm unit because it is cheap and easy to pull. Loid generates more total Yen, so he is better for long modes once you can afford his upgrades.

Q4. What is the best Hill unit in Anime Crusaders?

Cell (Ultra Perfect) is the best Hill unit, followed closely by Goko (Perfected Ultimate), Freeran (Timeless Mage), and Soi Fun (Death Sting). For a budget option, use Goko (Perfected Super III) or Heisou (Bird Sniper).

Q5. Is King good in Anime Crusaders?

Yes. King is one of the best free units in the game, turns Hybrid cheaply, and performs especially well in Tournaments. He is not a top tier carry for Infinite, but he is a great pick for any roster.

Q6. Are Legendary units worth using in the late game?

Mostly no, since evolved Mythic and Secret units deal far more damage. The big exceptions are Mr. Champion and Useless Goddess, whose damage buffs stay in the meta, and Ukia or Koichy for story mode crowd control.

Q7. How many units can you bring into a match in Anime Crusaders?

You can equip six units at a time, so each slot should cover a clear role like farm, buffer, carry, Hill, or crowd control.

Q8. What is the best trait in Anime Crusaders?

Crusader is the strongest trait with a huge 300% damage boost, but it limits the unit to one placement and has roughly a 0.1% roll chance. Radiant is the best realistic target for most DPS units.

Q9. How do I get more Gems for summoning in Anime Crusaders?

Clear story stages, Challenges, and raids, collect Gems from the AFK Chamber, and redeem active Anime Crusaders codes whenever a new update drops.

Q10. How often does the Anime Crusaders tier list change?

Rankings shift after every major update and balance patch, since new units, buffs, and nerfs can push older picks down fast. Brulo and Sun Woo were the best units at launch and now sit in A tier, so always check the current update before spending your pity on a unit.

Q11. Is Anime Crusaders X out yet?

Not yet. The developers have listed Anime Crusaders X as in development on their official Discord, but there is no confirmed release date. Until then, you can play the original game on its official Roblox page.
