Mobile Legends: Adventure Factions and Hybrid Heroes Explained
Every hero belongs to one of seven factions: Elemental, Martial, Tech, Light, Dark, Order, and Chaos. Newer Legendary hybrids also carry an eighth type called Astral. Running several heroes from the same faction activates team bonuses, and the Miracle Towers lock you into single faction lineups, so sooner or later you will want five solid heroes for each faction.
Elemental, Tech, and Martial work like rock paper scissors. Tech hits Martial hard but struggles against Elemental, for example. Hybrid heroes count toward two factions and skip that weakness completely, which is exactly why they crowd the top of this MLA tier list.
| Faction | Playstyle | Best Picks Right Now |
| Elemental | Burst damage and field control | Ethereal Zhuxin, Nightseer Esmeralda, Belerick |
| Martial | Raw offense that snowballs early | Kryos Sinmara, Tidescale Kalea, Miracle Clara |
| Tech | Energy generation and Ultimate spam, very free to play friendly | Angela, Mecha Layla, Sentient Alina |
| Light | Shields, control immunity, and slow grinding wins | Eclipse Arlott, Naiad Rafaela, Odette |
| Dark | Curses, charm, and turning enemies against each other | Achlys Alice, Ethereal Zhuxin, Luna Amara |
| Order | Team buffs, energy, and protection | Infinia Crocell, Omniversal Akashic, Akashic |
| Chaos | Heavy crowd control and battlefield disruption | Genesis Shar, Heartcore Angela, Shar |
| Astral | Found only on Legendary hybrids | Infinia Crocell, Omniversal Akashic, Kryos Sinmara |
S+ Tier Heroes in Mobile Legends: Adventure
These are the heroes that define the current meta. If you pull any of them, they should get your resources before almost anyone else.

Infinia Crocell (Order and Astral Mage)
Infinia Crocell is the hero that finally breaks a lot of long Campaign walls. Her Ultimate, Shattered Destiny, gives her a Beacon effect that powers up her other skills and hits every enemy for massive damage. Radiant Volley spreads damage and debuffs across several targets, Insight Pierce instantly finishes enemies sitting at low HP, and Convergent Fate punishes enemies the moment they enter battle or get revived. Her Realm Skill, Infinite Domain, makes her untargetable and shreds enemy shields with True Damage.
Her damage scales off enemy stats, so she is at her best against strong Campaign stages and feels weaker in Tinted Mirage and Minos Trials, where enemies have less raw Attack to work with.

Omniversal Akashic (Order and Astral Support)
Omniversal Akashic is one of the newest Legendary supports, and he already sits at the very top of Order. He belongs to the Oracle class, the same support group as Angela, Akashic, and Shar, so his job is to buff and speed up the whole team rather than win fights alone. The real selling point is coverage. One copy strengthens your Order towers and slots straight into Astral teams built around Infinia Crocell and Kryos Sinmara.

Genesis Shar (Order and Chaos Support)
Regular Shar is already one of the best control supports in the game, and Genesis Shar carries that heavy crowd control into two factions at once. She counts for Order and Chaos, so the same pull feeds both of your strongest endgame towers. Pair her with Akashic or Omniversal Akashic and you get one of the most reliable lockdown loops in the game, where enemies spend more time stuck than fighting.

Heartcore Angela (Chaos and Order Mage)
Heartcore Angela plays nothing like regular Angela. She runs on a tiny energy bar, and Neural Override slowly turns her Max Energy into stored Energy Sources so she can keep casting. Algorithm Lock sends her Darkheart Doll after the three farthest enemies and marks them so they take extra damage, while Love’s Vengeance burns one enemy for a slice of their Max HP every second until the fight ends.
Her energy orb also clears control effects from an ally and refunds 100 Energy, so she works as a damage dealer and a safety net in the same slot.

Akashic (Order Support)
Akashic is still a must build for Order. His Ultimate, Future Projection, opens the Akashic Memoirs, sharing a chunk of his Attack and Defense with allies and feeding the whole team Energy every second. Soul Siphon steals Attack and Defense from the enemy with the highest Attack, and his healing tops up the lowest HP ally twice in a row. Once his Soul Vessel is unlocked, he also reacts to enemy Ultimates and control, which keeps him relevant at every stage.

Angela (Tech Support)
Angela is arguably the best standard SSR ever added to the game. Her energy injection lets your main carry loop Ultimates far faster than normal, and Heartguard protects one chosen ally (she cannot cast it on herself). Tech is also the friendliest faction for free to play accounts, so Angela pays you back from the first chapter to the last. If you are unsure who to build first, build her.

Mecha Layla (Light and Tech Marksman)
Mecha Layla is the safest damage dealer in Mobile Legends: Adventure. She cannot be targeted through normal means, so she keeps firing high damage shots while enemy assassins look for someone else to hit. Because she counts for both Light and Tech, she doubles as a core for two towers, which makes her one of the smartest early premium summons you can make.

Shar (Chaos Support)
Shar is a ranged support built around strong crowd control, and she has aged far better than most older heroes. She keeps enemy carries locked down long enough for your damage dealers to finish the job, and her control pairs beautifully with Akashic. Even if you own Genesis Shar, the original still earns a spot in Chaos teams.

Apostae (Chaos Marksman)
Apostae is the late game damage king of Chaos. The scaling area damage grows as the fight drags on, which melts the packed enemy lineups you face in high Campaign stages and Miracle Towers. Apostae needs real investment before the damage comes online, but very few marksmen keep up once it does.

Feng (Order)
Feng is one of the most flexible units in Order. Feng works as a primary carry and a team damage multiplier at the same time, so you do not have to plan an entire lineup around one slot. That flexibility makes Feng an easy fit in Order towers, Campaign pushes, and mixed endgame teams.
S Tier Heroes in Mobile Legends: Adventure
S tier heroes are the best picks in their factions and the backbone of this Mobile Legends: Adventure tier list. Most of them are hybrids, and the rest are long time staples that never fell off.

Singularity Lunox (Order and Chaos Support)
Singularity Lunox is a Legendary support who taps into enemy power to hit back, so she gets more dangerous as the opposing team gets stronger. That makes her a great answer to stat heavy bosses and late Arena teams. She covers Order and Chaos, which lets her share a lineup with Genesis Shar and Heartcore Angela.

Mystic Mystia (Chaos and Tech Support)
Mystic Mystia, the Goddess of Games, is a Legendary Oracle support that bridges Chaos and Tech. Her value is team support across two factions that rarely share heroes. She patches holes in Tech towers next to Angela and still pulls her weight in Chaos, so she is the upgrade that makes a thin Tech roster ready for endgame.

Achlys Alice (Chaos and Dark Mage)
Achlys Alice mixes huge area damage with strong self sustain, a rare combo for a mage. She clears clustered enemies while healing through hits that would drop most backline heroes. As a Chaos and Dark hybrid, she anchors two of the hardest factions to build for.

Lionheart Sekhet (Martial and Chaos Tank)
Lionheart Sekhet is the UR version of Sekhet and an Iron Guard tank built for frontline durability. Her biggest perk is coverage. Martial rarely gets a premium tank, and she fills that gap while also strengthening Chaos lineups. If your frontline keeps collapsing early in fights, she is the fix.

Kryos Sinmara (Astral and Martial Marksman)
Kryos Sinmara is a high damage marksman who builds Primordial Frost stacks with her Basic Attacks, then spends them to supercharge her Ultimate. Her Realm Skill spreads debuffs across the enemy team. She was also the first hero with a Legion Skill, which raises the damage enemies take in non competitive modes and refunds Energy to your team after the first kill. She is the strongest Martial carry right now.

Sentient Alina (Tech and Order Tank)
Sentient Alina is a bodyguard tank. Bionic Grace places Lumiguard on one ally, cutting the damage they take and redirecting almost all of the rest onto Alina. Glimmer Sync shares her Energy gains with that ally and turns part of their damage into a shield for her. Put Lumiguard on your main carry and that carry becomes very hard to kill, and at higher skill levels they even get a short window of damage immunity after Alina falls.

Ethereal Zhuxin (Elemental and Dark)
Ethereal Zhuxin climbed fast because she is so consistent in late PvE. Her Crimson Beacon lantern launches enemies into the air while dealing damage based on their Max HP, so she stays useful even when you are badly underpowered. She counts for Elemental and Dark, which makes her one of the best two faction pulls in the game.

Nightseer Esmeralda (Elemental and Chaos Fighter)
Nightseer Esmeralda is a fighter that blends crowd control with steady damage from the front line. She ranks near the top of both Elemental and Chaos, so she upgrades two towers at S level. Pair her with Belerick in Elemental or Sekhet in Chaos for a frontline that both hits and holds.

Eclipse Arlott (Light and Dark)
Eclipse Arlott ranks at the top of both Light and Dark, which almost never happens because those factions usually pull in opposite directions. That two faction carry value is the whole point. One investment covers both towers, and he is one of the strongest Light picks you can own right now.

Tidescale Kalea (Martial and Light)
Tidescale Kalea holds S rank in Martial and Light, and she is one of the top investment targets for anyone building those factions. Her two faction flexibility means she rarely sits on the bench, whether you are clearing Martial towers or filling a Light lineup.

Everblight Shah Torre (Chaos Hybrid Mage)
Everblight Shah Torre is the UR upgrade of Shah Torre and ranks among the best options in both Chaos and Elemental lists. Like the original, she is a damage focused mage who keeps pressure on the whole enemy line, but with the extra faction coverage that makes hybrids so valuable.

Aeon Rista (Chaos)
Aeon Rista is the UR evolution of Rista, who is already one of the best carry enablers in Chaos. She is rated as an S tier Chaos enabler, and she is the version to chase if you love what Rista does for your damage dealers.

Ember Irithel (Chaos and Martial Marksman)
Ember Irithel is the UR take on Irithel, giving you a marksman who covers Chaos and Martial. She brings Irithel’s reliable sustained damage to two factions at S level, which makes her an excellent second carry beside Kryos Sinmara in Martial teams.

Eos Silvanna (Order and Light Fighter)
Eos Silvanna is the UR version of Silvanna and wears heavy equipment. Silvanna’s whole identity is a tanky frontline that also deals real damage, and Eos brings that to Order and Light at the same time. She is a great pick when you need a front row hero who does more than just absorb hits.

Skuld Norns (Dark and Astral Fighter)
Skuld Norns is a Dark and Astral fighter that endgame players treat as a core piece of ultra late team building. She matters less in early chapters, but her value keeps climbing the deeper you push, so she is worth saving resources for.

Miracle Clara (Dark and Martial Support)
Miracle Clara’s cheat death effect saves your backline from instant assassinations and buys time for the rest of your team to react. Add her healing and buffs, and she becomes a dependable support for both Dark and Martial lineups.

Belerick (Elemental Tank)
Belerick turns heavy hits into a slow bleed that he can outheal with his natural regeneration. That makes him one of the most reliable frontliners in the game, both for beginners and for endgame Elemental towers.

Naiad Rafaela (Light and Elemental Support)
Naiad Rafaela is one of the strongest Light heroes in the game and covers Elemental too. She belongs to the healer focused Spirit class, so her role is keeping your team alive through long fights. She is an easy pick for Light towers that need sustain.

Astraia Sipra (Light and Dark Support)
Astraia Sipra is a Spirit class support who ranks highly in both Light and Dark. Her team sustain helps two factions that normally cannot share heroes, which saves you from building separate healers for each tower.

Luna Amara (Martial and Dark Mage)
Luna Amara is a damage focused mage that ranks among the best in Dark while also counting for Martial. She gives Dark teams a reliable source of damage and gives Martial teams a rare mage option.

Lunox (Order Support)
Lunox is one of the steadiest sustain supports in Order. Her healing and team sustain keep carries alive long enough to finish their rotations, and she fits almost any Order lineup without special setup.

Atlas (Tech Tank)
Atlas is the frontline anchor of Tech. He brings shields and frontline utility that protect your backline, and he pairs naturally with Angela and Mecha Layla in Tech towers.

Hel (Chaos Fighter)
Hel is a long time S rank Chaos fighter. She gives Chaos teams a sturdy damage dealer for the front line, which is useful because most top Chaos heroes are supports or backline carries.

Sekhet (Chaos Tank)
Sekhet is a heavy Iron Guard tank and a long time pillar of Chaos. Her frontline durability gives Shar, Rista, and Apostae the time they need to do their work. Even with Lionheart Sekhet around, the original still earns her place.

Morpheus (Chaos Mage)
Morpheus is a Chaos mage who brings steady magic damage to the faction. He is a strong fit for Chaos towers that need a damage dealer who is not a marksman.

Odette (Light Mage)
Odette’s Lakeshore Ambience targets the enemy with the highest Attack and slows down their aggression, which buys your team valuable seconds. She is one of the strongest Light heroes and a solid control mage in any Light lineup.

Beatrice (Order and Chaos Support)
Beatrice is a Spirit class support who ranks at S level in both Order and Chaos. Her sustain support across two factions makes her a smart pick when you are building Order and Chaos towers at the same time.
A Tier Heroes in Mobile Legends: Adventure
A tier heroes are strong, safe investments. They may not define the meta, but each one fills a real role, and several of them sit at the top of their own faction lists.

Argus (Dark Tank)
Argus has a death defiance passive that keeps him alive for a few seconds no matter how strong the enemy is. That stall makes him a clutch progression tool and a great swap against assassin heavy teams.

Pharsa (Dark Mage)
Pharsa is a Light equipment Dark mage who brings area damage to Dark lineups. She ranks highly in Dark and stays useful when you need to hit several enemies at once.

Selena (Dark Mage)
Selena’s Ultimate, Primal Darkness, charms two enemies and turns their power against their own team. Cast it again and she shifts into Abyssal Form for area damage. Chaos Ender hunts down the enemy with the lowest HP, so she is great at finishing fights.

Harley (Elemental Support)
Harley’s Magic Hat targets the enemy with the highest Attack and keeps them busy, which protects your backline. He also adds solid damage and is one of the best beginner friendly Elemental heroes.

Nimbus Eudora (Elemental and Martial Mage)
Nimbus Eudora is a mage who covers Elemental and Martial and brings strong damage to both. She is one of the most versatile hybrid damage dealers and a great early hybrid to build.

Helia Karihmet (Order and Elemental Marksman)
Helia Karihmet is a UR marksman who ranks at the top of Elemental and comfortably in Order. Her two faction damage makes her a strong carry for players building Elemental towers.

Esmeralda (Elemental Fighter)
Esmeralda becomes immune to control while spinning, which makes her excellent in multi team Campaign waves where stuns and knockups usually wreck fighters.

Estes (Elemental Support)
Estes is a dedicated healer who keeps teams alive through the early and mid game. He is one of the best beginner picks and still fills Elemental towers later.

Valir (Elemental Mage)
Valir is the best early and mid game engine in Elemental. He can carry new accounts, but he drops in priority once enemy power starts to outscale yours.

Darksteel Dullahan (Elemental and Dark)
Darksteel Dullahan is one of the newer hybrids and ranks at A level in both Elemental and Dark. His two faction coverage makes him a solid fill for either tower.

Silvanna (Light Fighter)
Silvanna works as a sturdy tank and damage dealer at the same time. She holds the front line and still pushes damage into the enemy backline.

Edith (Tech Tank)
Edith’s signature trick is flipping the enemy frontline into their backline, which bunches targets together for your area damage carries. She is one of the best setup tanks in Tech.

Nana (Martial Support)
Nana is a backup resurrect support who brings fallen allies back into the fight. Newer hybrid supports are slowly outclassing her, but she is still very useful in Martial towers.

Wanwan (Martial Marksman)
Wanwan’s Transposition swaps an annoying enemy backliner into the danger zone, which can flip hard Campaign fights. She is also a great counter pick against threats like Selena.

Irithel (Martial Marksman)
Irithel is a reliable sustained damage marksman and one of the best beginner carries. She is easy to build and still useful in Martial towers.

Erza (Martial and Order Fighter)
Erza is a UR hybrid fighter who ranks at A level in Martial and Order. Her two faction frontline damage makes her a flexible pick for either tower.

Masha (Martial Tank)
Masha’s Leadership grants control immunity to nearby allies, which protects your team from charms and stuns. She is a smart counter against control heavy lineups.

Clint (Martial Marksman)
Clint is a dependable physical damage carry for Martial teams. He works well in all out attack lineups packed with marksmen.

Ultio Eris (Martial and Tech Marksman)
Ultio Eris brings damage and control in one package. Prismatic Blast hits a group of enemies and briefly stuns them, her marks let allies heal when they hit marked targets, and Cryogenic Aegis cuts down any single hit that would take a big bite out of her HP.

Apexis Cluster (Chaos and Dark Support)
Apexis Cluster is a puppet master. Doomsday Knell locks away part of the frailest enemy’s Max HP and marks them for your team to focus. His Ultimate redirects damage from allies to enemies, and his Realm Skill turns fallen enemies into puppets.

Noctis Tokinibara (Chaos and Astral Fighter)
Noctis Tokinibara is a UR fighter covering Chaos and Astral. Her hybrid frontline damage gives Chaos teams a sturdier option up front and adds another body to Astral lineups.

Estarith (Chaos Support)
Estarith offers near immunity and attack transfer effects, which makes her an excellent alternative support when you need to build several endgame teams at once.

Rista (Chaos Support)
Rista’s Demonic Thorns boosts allies’ Attack at the cost of some HP, and Dance with Erebus weakens enemy damage reduction. Her Ultimate, Wrath of Thorns, keeps an enemy under control, and when an enhanced ally dies she summons Guardian Erebus to copy her skills. She does not need many stars to be useful, which makes her a great early pull.

Melodic Lunabelle (Tech and Chaos Mage)
Melodic Lunabelle is a hybrid mage whose ranking swings a lot depending on the mode. She is a flexible hybrid damage dealer for Tech and Chaos teams, and some players rate her much higher for endgame use.

Agnes
Agnes shines brightest in Minos Trials. She buffs off her own team’s stats instead of relying on enemy numbers, which makes her a primary anchor in modes where heroes like Infinia Crocell struggle.

Oberon (Order Fighter)
Oberon is a Light equipment Order fighter who brings frontline damage to Order teams that are otherwise packed with supports and mages.

Crocell (Order Mage)
The original Crocell is still a solid Order damage mage. If you have not pulled Infinia Crocell yet, she covers that role well.

| Back 3 | Control or Second Damage | Selena, Odette, Ethereal Zhuxin |
- Chase hybrids first. A hero that counts for two faction towers protects you from spreading upgrade materials across seven separate rosters.
- Build energy engines before damage dealers. A carry that dies before casting an Ultimate does nothing, so Angela, Akashic, and Heartcore Angela come first.
- Save scrolls for big events. Scrolls spent during official summon events usually return more value than scrolls spent the moment you get them.
- Use low star heroes smartly. Heroes like Rista provide nearly full utility at lower stars, so they are great early pulls.
- Swap counters for each mode. Infinia Crocell is a Campaign monster but weaker in Tinted Mirage and Minos Trials. Agnes shines in Minos Trials. Swap Argus or Wanwan in against assassin heavy teams.

Mobile Legends: Adventure Tier List FAQs
Who is the best hero in Mobile Legends: Adventure right now?
Infinia Crocell is the best overall pick for pushing Campaign, while Omniversal Akashic and Angela are the most important supports. The best hero for you still depends on your roster and the mode you are clearing.
Which heroes should beginners build first?
Angela, Belerick, Estes, Nana, Irithel, Valir, and Harley are the safest early builds. They sit lower on the Mobile Legends: Adventure tier list than the Legendary hybrids, but they stay useful across many stages without premium pulls.
Are hybrid heroes better than single faction heroes?
Usually, yes. Hybrids count toward two faction towers and skip their faction weakness, so they give much more value per investment.
What is the Astral faction in Mobile Legends: Adventure?
Astral is a newer type found only on Legendary hybrids such as Infinia Crocell, Omniversal Akashic, Kryos Sinmara, Noctis Tokinibara, and Skuld Norns.
Who is the best support in MLA?
Angela and Akashic are the best standard supports, while Omniversal Akashic and Genesis Shar lead the Legendary and UR options.
Who is the best tank in MLA?
Lionheart Sekhet and Sentient Alina are the strongest tanks, while Belerick is the best beginner friendly frontline.
Who are the best DPS heroes in MLA?
Infinia Crocell, Mecha Layla, Apostae, Kryos Sinmara, and Achlys Alice are the strongest damage dealers in the current meta.
Should I only build S+ tier heroes?
No. Use the Mobile Legends: Adventure tier list as a starting point, not a rulebook. Team synergy and game mode matter a lot, and an A tier hero in the right lineup can outperform an S tier hero in the wrong one.
How many heroes are in Mobile Legends: Adventure?
There are more than 160 heroes across all factions, with new Legendary and UR hybrids added regularly.
How often should this Mobile Legends: Adventure tier list be checked?
Check back after major balance changes or new hero releases, since new Legendary hybrids can shift the top of the rankings quickly.
