Ayumi, the stunning sword- and gun-wielding treasure hunter, embarks on a trek to an old island in search of new experiences. While the island is abundant in wealth, it is also teeming with Chaos magic and is home to monsters who are insatiably hungry for blood. Blades of Time will provide just as much pleasure and satisfaction to gamers new to the action-adventure genre as to seasoned players, thanks to a plethora of colourful characters, stunning visual appeal, heaps of riches, and a wide variety of fighting skills to learn.

A hack-and-slash action-adventure video Game called Blades of Time was created by Gaijin Entertainment and released by Konami and Iceberg Interactive for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and Mac OS X. The Game is a sequel or reboot of X-Blades, a previous Game by Gaijin Entertainment. In North America, Blades of Time was made available on March 6, 2012; in Japan and Australia, it was made available on March 8; in Europe, it was made available on March 16. After initially being planned for release on April 18, 2012, the Windows and OS X versions were revealed at a later time. On May 14, 2019, an understanding of the Nintendo Switch was made available in Europe and North America. Miranda Raison portrays the main character in the English version.

Gameplay

• Blades of Time has a feature called "Time Rewind," which allows the player to go back in time and create a copy of the main character Ayumi's last move. 
• This tool is essential for resolving puzzles and fending off the swarms of opponents. 
• The "Dash" skill in the Game also allows players to move swiftly by utilising the environment to shorten the gap between Ayumi and her foes. 
• Ayumi can unlock more than 40 skill sets as the Game continues, including combinations and attacks and the potent Order and Chaos forms of magic. 
• Both a coordinated campaign and PvP features are available in the Game.

Plot

Ayumi, a treasure seeker with two swords, is stranded on an uncharted, dangerous island. The island is abundant in wealth, but it is also engulfed in Chaos magic. Ayumi quickly learns it's also the repository for thousands of long-held secrets, including unique talents and powers that she can acquire for herself. She must use the resources available to discover a method to overcome legions of threatening bad guys and a plethora of dangerous traps to escape the possessed island's grasp.
