Aquaria (PC) - Steam - Digital Code

Award-winning action-adventure game Aquaria is set in a vast underwater environment brimming with life and chock-full of ancient secrets. In pursuit of her past, follow Naija, a lone diver, as she journeys from mysterious, underground caves to stunning, sunlit oases. To discover the truth about her ancestry and divulge Aquaria's secret, she will search for lost treasure, navigate new waterways, and engage in combat with enormous underwater creatures.

As far back as she can remember, Naija has lived alone in a small body of water as her home. She is suddenly roused from her existence, which seemed like a dream, by an unexpected encounter. She cannot bear to stay when emotions she has never experienced before are suddenly released. She understands that there is a world out there that she has never experienced, and she longs to explore uncharted territory.

Naija may use her exceptional talent, the Verse, to improve the world by singing songs. With each piece she masters, she gains new skills that will enable her to explore new Terrain, take on fierce marine life, and ultimately understand the truth about herself. She will schedule a time to ride, prepare food while travelling, and fall in love!

Key Features

  • A vast and wonderful world to discover
  • A compelling narrative is woven with gorgeous graphics, music, and voiceovers.
  • Magic-based fighting and a novel mouse-based control system
  • 175 distinct creatures to encounter, converse with and engage in combat
  • Plenty of valuables to find
  • Cooking method for producing Potent Goods
  • Get every Steam achievement.
  • Winner of the 2007 IGF Seamus McNally Grand Prize, a classic independent action-adventure Game.
  • Utilizing eight magical forms, each with a unique ability, you can explore a sizable, hand-painted underwater fantasy world full of bizarre and unique animals.
  • Listen to 50 original musical tracks and full voice acting as you direct Naija on her trip in Aquaria.

Gameplay

One of our planet's most mysterious regions in the past has been the ocean. Numerous wonders could be found in the enormous abyss. It's motivational, and occasionally the sea is even referred to as the symbolic source of all life. What a fantastic backdrop for a Metroidvania Game that emphasizes exploration! Aquaria is portrayed in a style that could only work in the video Game medium. It's kind of like a warped coming-of-age story with nihilism sprinkled in. Although the main plot points are revealed through narrated cutscenes, the trip to learn them is a crucial component of the overall narrative.
