Crusader Kings II gets a fresh tune from Paradox, the musician behind "Guns, Drums, and Steel" for Europa Universalis IV. Test the strength of your dynasty while listening to Metal—our version of Viking Metal! This music pack, which was created especially for Crusader Kings II and added five new songs to the Game's soundtrack, combines the ferocity of Metal with Nordic folk music's themes and melodies.
About The Base Game:
Even if the Dark Ages are ending, Europe is still in disarray. Petty lords compete against struggling kings to regain control of their dispersed lands. While refusing to give up power over the investiture of bishops and their wealth, the Pope calls for a Crusade to defend Christians in the Holy Land. The time for greatness has come. The future of your dynasty is assured by expanding your demesne. Fill your coffers, select vassals, oust heretics and traitors, enact laws, and deal with hundreds of nobility, each of whom has a different goal.
A good lord will always require allies to help him out. But be careful—some vassals might not be as trustworthy as they seem, and loyal vassals can rapidly become enmity rivals. Be prepared and raise your status until the world whispers your name in amazement. Are you capable of rising to the position of Crusader King?
In an adventure created by Grand Strategy masters, Crusader Kings II examines one of the pivotal moments in global history. This epic Game of knights, plots, and thrones vividly recreates mediaeval Europe.
