This Refund Policy governs refund requests for digital gift cards purchased through Slashy, operated by Remittx Private Limited (CIN: U74999DL2016OPC303824).

Digital gift cards are generally non-refundable once delivered. Please read this Policy carefully before making any purchases.

1. GENERAL POLICY

1.1 Final Sale

All gift card purchases are final sales once delivered to your registered email address or phone number.

1.2 No Cash Refunds

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

2. ELIGIBLE REFUND SCENARIOS

We may provide refunds only in these specific circumstances:

2.1 Technical Errors

  • Duplicate charges for the same transaction
  • Wrong gift card denomination delivered
  • Gift card delivered to incorrect contact details due to system error
  • Payment charged but gift card not delivered due to technical failure
  • Non-functional gift card codes due to system issues

2.2 Brand Partner Issues

  • Brand Partner permanently discontinues their gift card program
  • Brand Partner goes out of business before redemption
  • Brand Partner refuses valid gift cards due to their technical issues

3. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS

No refunds will be provided for:

3.1 User Errors

  • Wrong email address or phone number provided during purchase
  • Accidental purchase of wrong gift card or denomination
  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Inability to redeem due to brand partner's terms
  • Loss of gift card codes due to user negligence

3.2 Security Issues

  • Fraudulent use of payment methods by third parties
  • Unauthorized transactions due to compromised user credentials
  • Identity theft or payment method misuse

3.3 Brand Partner Policies

  • Gift card expiry due to validity period
  • Brand Partner's temporary system downtime
  • Restrictions on gift card usage by Brand Partners

4. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

4.1 How to Request

  • Support ticket through the Support section in your account

4.2 Required Information

  • Order ID
  • Registered email/phone number
  • Purchase date and amount
  • Detailed reason for refund
  • Supporting screenshots (if applicable)

4.3 Processing Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: 24 hours
  • Decision: Within 7 business days
  • Refund processing: 5-10 business days to original payment method

4.4 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only.
