Descrição do produto
You will need to embark on a perilous journey amid the rubble to gather supplies to help you survive, fix your oxygen-leaking suit, and—most importantly—discover a method to get back home safely.
A first-person adventure video Game called Adrift (ADR1FT) was created by Three One Zero and released by 505 Games. It was made available on July 15, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and for Microsoft Windows on March 28, 2016.
Storyline
The plot centres on an astronaut who, having no recollection of the occurrence, floats among the rubble of a devastated space station. The lone survivor, floating silently amid the debris of a devastating spaceship with no recollection and a seriously damaged EVA suit slowly leaking oxygen, attempts to ascertain the origin of the cataclysmic event that killed everyone aboard. To restore the wrecked EEV and make it safely back home, the player battles for survival by searching the rubble for valuable materials. They also conquer the difficulties presented by the hostile environment.
Functionality
The Earth is shown in the backdrop while the player character is seen floating inside a wrecked space station in the first person. In zero gravity, the players move throughout the destroyed space station, collecting oxygen tanks to keep their oxygen levels up.
In Adrift, you play in the first person. In the Game, players assume control of Commander Alex Oshima, who may move around the open landscape in any direction while floating in zero gravity. Although the landscape may be thoroughly explored, players are constrained from going too far. Players must keep an eye on the oxygen limit, one of the constraints, to prevent suffocation. Players' vision blurs when their oxygen levels drop; they must acquire an oxygen tank to survive. Players solve a variety of puzzles as they go through five different locales. The Game is set in the year 2037, and players can find audio records that will elaborate on the details of the disaster. Players will also come across the crew's artefacts and have to choose whether to restore them to Earth. According to the Game's description, the two primary goals are to survive and go home safely.
Development
Oculus Rift compatibility will be included in the Game, as they had planned since the Game's creation. Three people used the Unity Game Engine to create the Game's first iteration in 10 weeks for possible publishers. The Unreal Engine 4 required a complete rebuild of the Game's functionality.
Before the complete gameplay presentation at The Game Awards on December 5, 2014, Adrift received an official announcement on June 4, 2014. In June 2015, a Game trailer was released a few days before the E3 conference. Adrift will be the subject of a comic book series produced by Three One Zero in collaboration with Top Cow Productions and Image Comics. The series' first issue was made available on June 12, 2015.
