Gameplay

Action-adventure stealth game Assassin's Creed: Revelations is played from the third-person perspective and takes place in an open world. The game has three different protagonists: Desmond Miles, Altar Ibn-Lahad, and Ezio Auditore. The game maintains the series' typical gameplay concept, mixing battle, stealth, and exploration whether you play as Ezio or Altar. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Revelations provides a number of new elements, most notably the "Hookblade," which replaces Ezio's customary dual Hidden Blade weapons. However, the core gameplay mostly stays unchanged from the previous game (which is broken at the beginning of the game).

The Hookblade's purpose is to speed up traversal and make up for Ezio's advancing years by enabling him to climb structures more quickly and reach farther ledges. Additionally, it can be utilized to access ziplines that run across the terrain and jump over wide gaps. According to reports, the Hookblade accelerates navigation by about 30%.
