You decide the Game's difficulty Level when you first start it:

• Average: Not familiar with Japanese
• Hard Mode: Hiragana proficiency

All Kanji are taught in Normal Mode using English readings rather than hiragana.

The actual Game incorporates traits from both visual novels and common JRPGs. As the main character, you enter a competition to win a three-month trip to Japan, but only if you agree to take Japanese lessons with a teacher will the contest's organisers select.
