About The Game:
Europa Universalis IV: Emperor lets you either rule a continent or the entire world.
Paradox Development Studio is releasing the critically acclaimed Europa Universalis series' fourth instalment. This classic strategy Game gives you control of a nation across four dramatic ages. Rule your country and the globe with unrivalled freedom, depth, and historical rigour. Create a new world history while creating a legendary empire.
In this addition to the early modern era-themed main Game from Paradox Development Studio, learn new strategies for growing your empire. Your attempts to rule the planet in the early modern era will have additional complexity and alternatives with the release of Europa Universalis IV: Emperor. Are you able to make your rule last for centuries?
Emperor aims to enhance the gaming experience for players from European countries by giving Catholic states more dimension and making the Holy Roman Empire more lively and dynamic. As revolutions spread like wildfire, kingdoms that do not wish to be engulfed in the emotional clamour for reform must take action. Previous mechanics are interpreted on a newly redrawn map, and new alternatives are offered.
Europa Universalis IV: Emperor has the following features:
- A Strong Pope: Elect cardinals, issue papal bulls, and collect tithes. The Vatican and the Papal Controller now have new power to influence the Catholic faithful's souls.
- The New Vatican Empire: Deal with significant imperial events threatening the monarchy's authority to establish a consolidated monarchy or a decentralised confederation.
- Revamped Revolutions: Revolutionary sentiment must be either actively welcomed or aggressively resisted. To impose the new way of thinking, employ the guillotine and the revolutionary guard.
- Mechanics of New Religion : Bohemia is a stronghold for the Hussite faith, the strength of the Defenders of the Faith movement gives them power, and the Counter-Reformation gives people new options for combating Protestantism.
- Hegemonies : You should anticipate tremendous rewards if you achieve remarkable exploits. Claim the mantle of honour for amassing vast resources and troops.
- In addition: there are over 20 new, distinctive task trees for various European countries and numerous additional options and events.
Development:
After Divine Wind, the last DLC for Europa Universalis III was released in December 2010, and early design discussions for Europa Universalis IV started shortly after that. Based on the Clausewitz Engine, development began in earnest around September 2011. After being teased under the codename "Project Truman," it was first made public in August 2012 to coincide with a showing at that year's Gamescom.
Weekly "developer diaries" detailing a different aspect of the Game's development were published by Paradox Development Studio via their online forums throughout the project. These included details on design principles, added game mechanics, and elements from Europa Universalis III being eliminated.
Stability and quality assurance were given more attention during the development of Europa Universalis IV than in the previous series games.
Other Versions Of The Game:
- Europa Universalis IV: Lions of the North
- Europa Universalis IV: Guns, Drums and Steel Volume 3 Music Pack
- Europa Universalis IV - Expansion Subscription
- Immersion Pack - Europa Universalis IV: Origins
- Expansion - Europa Universalis IV: Leviathan
