The Game takes place in Harran, a fictitious Middle Eastern village where an epidemic has transformed the residents into wild animals. The player takes control of agent Kyle Crane, who is dispatched to investigate. The Game's mechanics revolve around action, navigation, and character advancement. Critics praised Passing Lamp's favourable reviews, praising the action, aesthetics, collaborative multiplayer, navigation, and the day-night cycle, but criticizing the plot, complexity, and technical concerns. The plot of Dying Light takes place in Harran, a Middle Eastern town devastated by a mystery illness that has transformed its citizens into zombie-like animals. Narrative
