Worms Blast is a 2002 puzzle video Game created by Team17 and distributed by Ubi Soft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Mac OS X. Feral Interactive made and released the Mac version.

Gameplay

Puzzle Bobble gameplay is included, although there are some significant distinctions. The figure is sitting on a floating boat on the water, and there is a hexagonal grid of coloured blocks over the top of the screen. You can move left and right, unlike in Puzzle Bobble. The player must first utilise the Bazooka—the single weapon—of all the ones employed. Holding the fire button lengthens the weapon's range by increasing its power, like in Worms. Players can access challenging locations using bazookas (and other weapons like grenades and dynamite) within the "Ark."

One of two things happens when blocks are shot:

A block that a player strikes with his Bazooka or a rainbow-coloured league, together with any other blocks connected to it, are all destroyed. Partnerships with different colours are unaffected. However, if the coloured block you just removed is the only thing keeping those blocks in place, they will fall into the water.

A block will change colour to match the bazooka rocket if the player strikes it, and it is either a "dead block" (colourless grey block) or a different colour than the rocket.
