To play, Northgard must be installed on your computer. It puts you in the shoes of the fearless Vikings who found Northgard as a new continent. It is rich in wealth but also complete with mystery and peril. You'll need to colonize the recently found area, make your town weather the seasons, and engage in conflict with other players to emerge as the strongest.

 

The Clan of the Dragon, Nidhogg

 

The Dragon clan practises bizarre rituals and adheres to its most unusual practices. They frequently gain the mistrust of the opposing clan by using sacrifice and enslavement to advance their objectives.

 

The clan begins with several benefits:

• You can send your civilians into the unoccupied area.
• There is no reduction in Happiness or Production while injured.
• Starting is a Sacrificial Pyre. A Dragonkin Altar can be constructed in place of other military structures.
• You have 2 Thralls at first. Thralls may be purchased at your Longship Dock.

 

The measure of Dragon Essence, Slavery, and Sacrifice

 

The economic foundation of the clan is slavery. Thralls may move around in hostile Terrain and engage in combat like average citizens. Thralls are not included in your population totals and do not need homes. The size of your present population determines their most considerable amount. They collect 50?wer assets than a civilian and consume 50% less food than a Villager.

 

There are two methods for recruiting new thralls:

1. From your longship dock, you may purchase them. Each time a thrall is bought, the price goes up.
2. You'll be able to make members of other factions your slaves once you have the Capture Lore.

 

Although thralls are an effective economic and military force, beware of their sheer numbers! They will rebel against you if, by accident, your average population merges with your Thrall population.

 

The Dragon Essence Gauge and the Sacrifices

 

Every Game begins with the Sacrificial Pyre, a unique tower that belongs to the Clan of the Dragon. You can send every unit you own to be sacrificed through this tower to please the gods and win their favour.
