The Earth in Journey of a Roach is after a nuclear accident. The player assumes the role of Jim, the cockroach, who is trying to find a way to the earth's surface. The route takes the traveller through a network of bunkers that are subterranean, where different objects must be found, and problems must be resolved. Journey of Roach provides player different options to choose from, in an attempt to be home.

The Adventure-themed computer Game Journey of a Roach was released in 2013 by German publisher Daedalic Entertainment. The Swiss studio Koboldgames created it. Journey of Roach has twice been nominated for a Swiss award and won it.
