Players can enter the Cars 2 universe alongside some of their favourite Cars characters in exotic locales worldwide in the Video Game Cars 2: The Video Game, based on the Disney•Pixar animated film.

As they train in the global training facility CHROME (Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage) to become top-notch spies, players can choose to take on the roles of Mater, Lightning McQueen, as well as a few brand-new characters. In thrilling, action-packed combat racing and battle arenas, they will engage in risky missions, fight to become the fastest racecar in the world or employ their spieskills.

To access challenging new tracks, characters, events, and exciting spy missions, players can compete in single-player or multiplayer modes with up to four other players. Exclusive international places not shown in the movie will also be included in the DS edition.

Gameplay

• Players can choose from 25 distinct characters in the third-person racing Game Cars 2 and learn to become top-notch spies. 
• Players engage in tasks as part of their training using cutting-edge equipment, such as devices that slow down or evade enemies.
• Bronze, silver, and gold trophies are available for the Game. Different points are given depending on the class of vehicle the player uses. 
• There are three weight categories for the Game characters: heavy, medium, and light. Players can access additional vehicles, tracks, and tasks by gathering emblems. 
• The number of concurrent players in drop-in/drop-out multiplayer modes is four.

The Title Cars 2: The Video Game, based on the Pixar computer-animated film of the same name, follows the antics of the cars Lightning McQueen and Mater as they train in an underground facility known as CHROME, which stands for Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage. As they attempt to impersonate spies, British Intelligence agents Holley Shiftwell and Finn McMissile join them.
