Chaos on Deponia (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

The graphic adventure video game Chaos on Deponia was created and released by Daedalic Entertainment. It is a follow-up to Deponia and continues the narrative of Rufus, the protagonist, as he tries to leave his native planet Deponia.

The long-awaited successor to the lauded and widely appreciated Deponia ushers the player into round two. Unfortunately, the player finds Chaos on Deponia even sillier than its predecessor and falls under its spell immediately.

It appears that Rufus changed his mind in the wake of the events on Deponia. He no longer intends to cause enormous mayhem to achieve his selfish goals; instead, he has matured into a wise, kind, compassionate individual. He doesn't appear to be training torpedo dolphins, chaining himself to burning saw blades, or hunting through platypus eggs. Or is he?

The Goal is ultimately grounded on Deponia by a blazing saw blade. She unintentionally divides her consciousness into three pieces, which are then saved on three distinct CDs.

Rufus must once more use his exceptional charm to persuade the three components of Goal to unite once more to travel to Elysium with her and save Deponia from certain death.

Playable without further knowledge of the first instalment, the second adventure on Deponia delivers a distinctive, stand-alone plot. Fans of the first game learn more about the backstories of well-known characters and get some of their unanswered questions answered.

Gameplay

The fundamental gameplay has not altered since the previous release. In order to solve puzzles and advance the plot, the player guides Rufus over a variety of richly drawn environments, gathering and fusing more minor things and interacting with machines.

Key Features

  • The game contains an imaginative setting that pays homage to the works of Matt Groening, Terry Pratchett, and Douglas Adams.
  • The chaos of Deponia has a full HD hand-drawn art design and premium comic book-style cartoon animation.
  • Strange people and absurd humour mix with tricky riddles.
  • The game contains an extensive soundtrack that includes a lot of moody music.
  • From the writers of "Edna & Harvey: The Breakout," "Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes," and "The Whispered World," award-winning adventures.
  • The games' supported languages include French, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Bulgarian, Czech, Spanish, Italian, German, English (audio), Spanish (audio), Italian, Spanish, and French.
  • The game has high-quality voice work delivered by renowned dubbing talents.
  • The game features a unique 2D gaming environment with hand-drawn graphics and high-quality comedic animations.
