Star Savior is a brand-new anime-stylized RPG that features turn-based combat mechanics and a slew of different collectible characters. Players need to make use of the gacha mechanics in order to acquire the strongest characters in the game. But firstly, you will need to identify which characters are considered as the strongest. And, that’s where our Star Savior tier list comes in handy!

Since the game is fairly new, these character rankings are tentative and scheduled to be changed. In our Star Savior tier list, we have ranked all available characters along with providing the reason for their place. Players can know about the strongest characters for each role, and curate an effective team formation that works across different game modes. Even so, you need to understand what each role does in Star Savior. You see, all characters in the game are placed in a specific role, according to which they function. Star Savior character roles are as follows:

Striker – Striker characters form the backbone of many teams in Star Savior. They bring out the essential damage while also being relatively bulky. Yes, they do not deal the highest DPS but they can dish out decent damage on top of providing other buffs/debuffs in their kit.
Assassin – As the name might imply, Assassin characters in Star Savior are all about damage and speed. You will find them having great base stats when it comes to Attack and Speed. But, they fall short in absorbing damage. Also, most of their kits are focused around dealing single-target damage, making them ideal for boss hunts in PvE modes.
Ranger – Ranger characters in Star Saviour have some of the highest DPS numbers. They have access to powerful AOE and single-targeted damaging abilities that can disrupt enemy formations. An ideal team should always have 1 or 2 Rangers in the backline so that your overall damage numbers don’t fall short.
Supports – The Support role is also very crucial when building a Star Savior team. This role helps out other teammates by healing them, inflicting debuffs on enemies, and providing helpful buffs that enhance survivability of the team.
Defender – Your Defender Star Savior characters are essentially packing tons of base stats in the form of HP and Defense. They are the ideal ‘tanks’ that should be placed in the frontline to absorb damage and protect the backline carries.
Caster – The Caster characters are essentially Mages who deal magical damage to enemies. You should try to bring in at least 1 Mage in the team if you lack magical damage. Their DPS can rack up quite fast, and they also help in crowd-controlling enemies with various debuffs.

Factors Affecting Star Savior Tier List Rankings

While constructing our Star Savior tier list, we took into account some core factors that helped us decide the character rankings. These factors were as follows:

Base Rarity – For those unaware, Star Savior assigns a base rarity to all of their characters. There are a total of 3 rarities at the time of writing – R, SR, and SSR. The higher the rarity, the better the base stats and stronger the impact of their abilities.
Community Rankings – Our Star Savior tier list incorporated many of the thoughts within the community as we took inspiration from community-made tier lists. This helped us jot down which characters were used frequently by real-time players in different PvE and PvP game modes.
