Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Tier List: Best Heroes Ranked for PvE and PvP (October 2026)

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH now has more than 120 Legendary and Rare heroes, and fresh banners land roughly every two weeks. That makes it very easy to pour resources into someone who falls off a month later. This Seven Knights Re:BIRTH tier list ranks every hero in the current meta for PvE and PvP, including the Demon Slayer collab heroes and every recent Awakening.

How We Built Our Seven Knights Re:BIRTH tier list?

These rankings come from cross checking community hero databases, top PvP and PvE player rankings, and every patch up to the Demon Slayer collab update. Heroes are judged at a solid level of investment, which usually means Transcendence 6, because that is where most kits fully come online. Awakened heroes are ranked in their Awakened form. Instead of splitting things into a separate PvE tier list and PvP tier list, every hero gets a ‘Best for’ tag that tells you exactly where they shine.

TierWhat It Means
SSMeta defining heroes. They are the core of top PvP teams or close to essential for the hardest PvE stages.
SExcellent in most content. Safe, long term picks you will keep using.
AGood heroes that usually shine in one role or one game mode.
BUsable fillers or niche picks. Build them only if you have nothing better.
C and DEarly game placeholders. Most of these end up as enhancement material.

One more thing worth knowing: Seven Knights Re:BIRTH only has two rarities that matter, Legendary and Rare, but Legendary heroes from special groups like the Seven Knights, Four Lords and Seven Knights of Old are noticeably stronger than regular Legendaries. The in-game hero filter even splits them into Special Legendary and Regular Legendary.

SS Tier Heroes

Check out all the 7KRebirth heroes in this tier:

Yoongun (Awakened, Magic)

Yoongun is the strongest damage dealer in the game right now. Skills hit every enemy with Pierce damage that also scales with the target’s max HP, and even the basic attack trims enemy buffs with Buff Duration Reduction. Transcendence 2 unlocks Ignore Defense and Transcendence 6 adds a powerful skill chain, so push for both. Yoongun is also the first hero with Binding Rope.

Best for: PvE and PvP.

Sun Wukong (Magic)

Sun Wukong is one of the most flexible heroes you can own. His skills change depending on whether his Clones are out, and his kit mixes Petrify, critical hits and Ignore Defense. Taking damage shortens his cooldowns, so he casts constantly, and every skill heals all allies. He reaches 100% Crit Rate at Transcendence 6.

Best for: PvP, Castle Rush and Advent Expedition.

Dellons (Awakened, Physical)

Awakened Dellons starts strong and gets scarier the longer a fight goes. After Transforming, Dellons becomes immune to crowd control, and every enemy finished with Execution chains straight into another skill. The basic attack shortens skill cooldowns, and repeated Damage Nullification keeps Dellons alive through burst.

Best for: PvE and PvP.

Clemyth (Awakened, Magic)

Clemyth is the best healer and buffer in the current meta. Ally Role Support gives each teammate a different bonus based on their type, so Clemyth fits Physical, Magic and tank teams alike. Heals, Continuous Healing and Barriers keep the team topped up, and the Awakening skill can Revive two allies or grant Immortality.

Best for: Tank and sustain teams and Advent Expedition.

Orkah (Awakened, Physical)

Orkah is a Physical attacker built to dismantle enemy teams. Every hit can Ignore Defense, strip buffs faster with Buff Duration Reduction and soften targets with Defense Reduction and Physical Vulnerability. Orkah also slows enemy front row attackers with Cooldown Increase and gives your own back row attackers a Physical Attack Boost plus Damage Nullification.

Best for: PvP and Physical teams.

Lu Bu (Physical)

Lu Bu is a hard hitting Physical carry who lands Weakness Hits that Ignore Defense. Bonus damage, extra attacks and consecutive skill activation mean he hits far more often than most heroes, and his cooldowns reset whenever he Revives. He works best with three or more Attack type heroes, and Transcendence 2 adds Defense Reduction.

Best for: PvE and PvP.

Randgrid (Physical)

Randgrid is one of the scariest PvP heroes in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. When she gets locked down, she removes her debuffs and gains Crowd Control Immunity, and she was the first Attack type hero with Defense Reduction. Block Rate Reduction and boosted Weakness Hit damage make her deadly, and in a team of five Attack type heroes she unlocks HP Alteration. Damage Immunity and Indomitable keep her standing.

Best for: Arena and Guild War.

Skuld (Awakened, Magic)

Skuld is the top debuffer for Magic teams. She is the first hero who can weaken enemy shields with Incoming Barrier Reduction, and she delays enemy turns with Cooldown Increase and Silence. Awakening adds HP Alteration and Unable to Recover, a brutal combo against tanky teams. Threads of Fate grants her Damage Nullification and Debuff Removal, so she survives long enough to do her job.

Best for: PvP and Magic teams.

Sunran (Awakened, Physical)

Sunran is the hard counter to tank and sustain teams. Her hits scale with the target’s max HP and current HP, Upper Hand can make enemies Miss, and six stacks of Demon Face fire her second skill automatically. She attacks the back row first, so she reaches the enemy attackers hiding behind their tanks.

Best for: PvP against tanky teams.

Aris (Awakened, Physical)

Aris is a Universal type hero who mixes damage and support for long, grindy fights. Her damage keeps climbing as the battle goes on, Blocking an attack raises her Attack, and her hits apply Buff Duration Reduction. She also brings Pierce, Stun and Revive. Only invest if you can Awaken her, because she is underwhelming without it.

Best for: Tank and sustain teams.

Freyja (Magic)

Freyja is the best Magic AoE attacker for most accounts. Both of her skills hit every enemy, which makes her excellent for Nightmare Ruby farming, and she removes buffs and turns them into Defense Reduction. HP Alteration and Bleed help her crack tanky PvP teams.

Best for: Farming, Raids and PvP.

Rin (Magic)

Rin hits four enemies at once and throws the other team into chaos with Confusion and Increased Miss Chance. She lowers the enemy’s Weakness Hit Chance, survives with Revive and Damage Nullification, and once she reaches 6 stars, a kill with Skill 1 resets her cooldowns.

Best for: PvP and general PvE.

Kagura (Physical)

Kagura is the best support for Physical teams, especially ones built around critical hits. Kagura raises allies’ Crit Damage and Physical Damage, applies Physical Vulnerability and shuts down healers with Incoming Healing Reduction. Petrify adds hard control, and Transcendence 2 unlocks strong Healing.

Best for: Physical PvP teams.

Kyle (Physical)

Kyle hunts the strongest enemy on the field. Eyes of the Strong aims his attacks at high Attack targets, and his hits Ignore Defense, Pierce and deal damage based on max HP. Pair him with at least two other Attack type heroes and stack Crit Rate on his gear.

Best for: PvE bosses and PvP.

Mercure (Magic)

Mercure is the engine of every Magic team. He is the only hero with Magic Reflux, both of his skills hit all enemies, and he gives Magic allies a Barrier and Blessing. He also brings Stun and Incoming Healing Reduction. Run him with at least three Magic heroes, ideally next to Reginleif.

Best for: Magic teams in PvE and PvP.

Vanessa (Magic)

Vanessa is the most reliable debuffer in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Her passive puts Defense Reduction on every enemy, her skills add Petrify and Cooldown Increase, and Transcendence 6 unlocks Magic Vulnerability. She slots into almost any team.

Best for: Every mode, especially Magic teams.

Trude (Physical)

Trude is a tanky Physical attacker who blooms late but pays off big. She hits all enemies, reaches 100% Crit Rate at Transcendence 6, and protects Universal type allies with Barriers and Debuff Removal. Pain Endurance, Revive and Heal make her very hard to take down.

Best for: Tank teams in PvP, Adventure, Infinite Tower and farming.

Bai Long (Physical)

Bai Long is a single target specialist and one of the best boss killers in the game. Pinnacle of Martial Arts powers up each strike, while Ignore Defense and Defense Ignore Efficiency Boost let Bai Long tear through heavily armored bosses. A Crit Rate Boost and self Heal round out the kit.

Best for: Advent Expedition, Castle Rush and Raids.

S-Tier Heroes

Check out all the 7KRebirth heroes in this tier:

Hayeon (Awakened, Magic)

Hayeon is a flexible support who powers up basic attack teams, since Cover makes an ally fire off a basic attack. When Hayeon would go down, Guts kicks in and triggers HP Swap, Unable to Recover and Buff Block on the enemy. The Awakening skill speeds up your side with Cooldown Reduction while slowing the enemy with Cooldown Increase.

Best for: PvP support.

Dongyoung (Awakened, Magic)

Dongyoung spreads Deadly Poison and Fear, and he gets stronger every time his allies use skills. He is the first Magic type hero with Indomitable and can give Damage Immunity to Magic allies in his row. Incoming Healing Reduction makes him a strong counter to tank and sustain teams.

Best for: PvP and Magic teams.

Tanjiro Kamado (Awakened, Physical)

Tanjiro grows stronger after pushing through tough moments, just like in the anime. His Transparent World cuts through enemies who rely on Damage Immunity, and he adds Burn, Ignore Defense and Physical Vulnerability. Indomitable and Damage Nullification keep him swinging, and he hits his peak at Transcendence 6.

Best for: PvP, Infinite Tower and Advent Expedition.

Zenitsu Agatsuma (Awakened, Physical)

Zenitsu is a lightning fast attacker built around Shock. His hits Ignore Defense, his skills activate repeatedly, and his Execution targets the two enemies with the highest Attack, which makes him a direct counter to Sunran.

Best for: Guild War, Arena and Infinite Tower.

Pallanus (Physical)

Pallanus attacks and supports at the same time in tanky or Death based teams. HP Swap trades health with a healthy enemy to flip a losing fight, and dropping below 30 percent HP removes all debuffs from the whole team. Pallanus needs at least one Defense type and one Support type alongside to work.

Best for: PvP.

Radgrid (Physical)

Not to be confused with Randgrid, Radgrid is a sturdy Defense type hero who guards the back row. After taking three hits, Radgrid gains a Heal and a Barrier, grants Protection to Universal allies behind, and lowers enemy Crit Rate and Attack. Burn and Pierce give some bite too.

Best for: Tank teams in PvP.

Reginleif (Magic)

Reginleif is a must have for full Magic teams. With five Magic heroes deployed, she unlocks a powerful team bonus, and her attacks Ignore Defense. When Immortality triggers, her cooldowns reset, and she also applies Paralysis and Magic Vulnerability. She pairs beautifully with Mercure, though the team bonus does not work in Guild War.

Best for: Magic teams, Arena and Advent Expedition.

Karma (Magic)

Karma attacks and protects at the same time. Getting hit raises Karma’s Defense and builds Perseverance stacks, and spending four stacks unleashes attacks that Ignore Defense and Pierce. Karma also gives allies Damage Resistance and heals based on damage taken.

Best for: PvP and Advent Expedition.

Silvesta (Awakened, Magic)

Awakened Silvesta is a Magic AoE attacker who Ignores Defense and refuses to go down. A kill with Skill 1 triggers consecutive activation, and her Awakening adds a full Cooldown Reset. Blessing, Guts, Barrier and Heal make her very hard to remove.

Best for: PvE and PvP.

Branze & Bransel (Physical)

This duo thrives on knockouts, with effects that trigger whenever an enemy or ally is defeated. Their single target Execution goes after the back row first, and they apply Bleed along the way. At Transcendence 6 they can Revive an ally and grant Damage Nullification.

Best for: Physical teams in every mode.

Rudy (Awakened, Physical)

Awakened Rudy is the classic tank, upgraded. He spreads damage across the team with Link, delays enemy Awakenings with Awakening Gauge Reduction, and Counterattacks with a chance to Stun. Damage Resistance and Defense Boost keep him standing.

Best for: Tank and sustain teams in PvP.

Colt (Physical)

Colt throws Bombs at every enemy and weakens their damage with Attack Reduction. Camouflage and Guts make him slippery, and Transcendence 6 adds Cooldown Reduction. Gear him for Speed.

Best for: PvP.

Yeonhee (Magic)

Yeonhee is a Magic attacker who puts enemies to Sleep. Her three hit attacks Ignore Defense and Pierce, and her passive gives Magic allies a Magic Attack Boost. At Transcendence 2, her basic attack can Sleep two enemies, and a recent buff keeps her competitive.

Best for: Magic teams and Castle Rush.

Platin (Magic)

Platin is a tanky Magic debuffer. Basic attacks apply Attack Reduction, a passive can Heal up to three times per fight, and Damage Based Healing keeps Platin topped up. HP Alteration adds a nasty surprise. Best for: PvP.

Elysia (Physical)

Elysia hits all enemies while looking after the team. Her passive applies Defense Reduction, her skills remove debuffs from allies, and she adds Silence and Increased Miss Chance. That makes her a handy counter to status effect teams.

Best for: PvP and PvE.

Jave (Physical)

Jave is a dragon knight with two attacks that hit every enemy. He applies Burn and Stun, deals Pierce damage and Counterattacks when hit. At Transcendence 6, his Burn upgrades into Dragonflame.

Best for: Farming and Castle Rush.

Kyrielle (Magic)

Kyrielle is a Magic attacker made for PvP. She removes debuffs and gains extra damage for each one removed, inflicts Paralysis, and her Skill 1 fires twice in a row at Transcendence 2. Stack Speed and Effect Hit Rate on her gear.

Best for: Magic PvP teams.

Sung Jinwoo (Magic)

The Solo Leveling star Levels Up during battle and gets stronger with each level. His hits Pierce, Ignore Defense and scale with max HP, and he deals extra damage in higher level stages, which makes him a monster in Adventure. If you want more of his story, our Solo Leveling: Arise beginner’s guide is a good next stop.

Best for: Adventure and PvE.

Kris (Physical)

Kris inflicts Death, which knocks enemies out once its countdown ends. Every kill heals and shields his allies, Immortality and Revive keep him alive, and Transcendence 2 adds a Cooldown Reset.

Best for: Death teams and PvE.

Teo (Physical)

Teo is the best farming hero in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH and the most popular reroll target. He hits all enemies with Pierce damage, reaches 100% Crit Rate at Transcendence 6, and resets his cooldowns to keep the waves falling. Damage Nullification and Immortality keep him alive.

Best for: Ruby farming, Adventure and Raids.

Best for: Waves of five enemies and early PvE.

Yu Shin (Magic)

Damage Immunity and Debuff Removal from Transcendence 2 add safety, and she is one of the guaranteed picks in your first Legendary summon.

Best for: PvP.

Lina (Magic)

Lina deals damage only through basic attacks, but her support kit is stacked. She gives allies an All Damage Boost and Crit Damage Boost, keeps them alive with Heals, Continuous Healing and Barriers, and lowers enemy Defense. She really shines after Skill Enhancement and Transcendence.

Best for: Every mode.

Nezha (Magic)

Nezha is a Magic attacker built around three target hits, with a damage boost for three target attacks that makes each one land hard. Ignore Defense and Crit Rate Boost add punch, Cooldown Reduction speeds up the rotation, and Barrier plus Damage Immunity keep Nezha safe.

Best for: PvE.

Karl Heron (Physical)

Best for: PvP.

Best for: PvP and Death teams.

Melia (Magic)

Melia is one of the Seven Knights of Old and a tank who can turn into a Crystal Dragon. Melia draws hits with Taunt, protects allies with Barrier and Defense Boost, and stays in the fight through Crowd Control Immunity and Revive. Magic Vulnerability and Increased Miss Chance weaken the enemy at the same time.

Best for: Castle Rush, Advent Expedition and PvP.

Best for: PvE and PvP.

Xiao Qiao (Magic)

Xiao Qiao is a single target Magic attacker made for bosses. Magic Vulnerability, Weakness Hit Chance Boost and Ignore Defense stack up into huge numbers, and a Crit Damage Boost adds even more. Barrier and Debuff Removal keep her steady through long fights.

Best for: Raids and Castle Rush.

Check out all the 7KRebirth heroes in this tier:

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Skill Terms Explained

Skill descriptions in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, or 7K Rebirth as much of the community calls it, throw around a lot of terms. Here are the ones you will see most in this guide:

  • Transcendence: A hero upgrade that uses duplicate copies. Stages 2 and 6 add new skill effects for most heroes, so they are the big milestones.
  • Awakening: A major upgrade for selected heroes that adds an Awakening skill and improves their kit. It needs 6 stars, all skills enhanced, the Fragment Restoration missions and Awakening Stones.
  • Ignore Defense: The attack skips part of the target’s Defense, so it hits harder against tanky enemies.
  • HP Alteration: Changes a target’s HP directly instead of dealing normal damage. It is one of the best tools against tanks.
  • Damage Nullification: Blocks damage for a set number of hits.
  • Damage Immunity: Blocks damage for a set number of turns.
  • Guts and Immortality: Guts lets a hero survive a hit that would knock them out. Immortality stops them from going down for a short time.
  • Weakness Hit: A separate bonus damage proc that works alongside critical hits.
  • Link: Spreads incoming damage across linked allies so one hero does not take it all.
  • Death: A countdown status that knocks the enemy out when it runs out.

Best Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Reroll Targets and Beginner Picks

Rerolling is an optional process in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. The free heroes and early summons are good enough to clear PvE at a steady pace, but a strong first pull does make the early game smoother. Here is what to aim for if you want to start near the top of the Seven Knights Re:BIRTH tier list.

  • First Legendary summon: Your first ten pull guarantees one of five Legendaries, which are Velika, Nia, Bi Dam, Ruri and Yu Shin. Velika and Nia are the best of the bunch since both clear waves with AoE skills.
  • Top reroll targets: Teo is the best overall reroll for farming, followed by Yeonhee, Rin and Mercure. Vanessa and Kagura are the strongest supports to start with.
  • Skip tanks for now: Defense types like Rudy only show their full value once the rest of your roster is built.
  • Free Rares to build: Yui, Evan and Lucy carry the early game, and Yui stays useful for a long time.
  • Grab the collab heroes: All four Demon Slayer heroes are being provided to players, so log in while the event is running.

A reroll takes about five minutes. To reroll in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, follow these steps:

  1. Log in as a guest
  2. Finish the initial tutorial
  3. Claim your mailbox rewards
  4. Use your summons.

If the result is not what you want, delete the guest account from the ‘Settings’ menu and start again. Then link your account once you are happy with your pulls.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1. Who is the best hero in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH right now?

Awakened Yoongun is the strongest damage dealer in the current meta. Clemyth is the top support, and Teo remains the best value pick for farming.

Q2. Who should I reroll for in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?

Teo is the best reroll target, followed by Yeonhee, Rin and Mercure. Vanessa and Kagura are the best supports. From the first guaranteed Legendary summon, aim for Velika or Nia.

Q3. Is rerolling necessary in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?

No. The free heroes and starter summons are enough to progress through PvE. Rerolling simply gives you a faster start.

A few are. Yui, Xiao and Evan stay useful well past the early game, and Awakened Hellenia is a real Guild War pick. Most other Rares are best used as enhancement material later on.

They are two different Celestial Guardian heroes. Randgrid is an Attack type PvP carry with HP Alteration, while Radgrid is a Defense type tank who protects the back row.

Q7. What does Awakening do in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?

Awakening adds a new Awakening skill and upgrades a hero’s existing kit. Some heroes, like Aris, are only worth building once they are Awakened.

Q8. How often does this Seven Knights Re:BIRTH tier list change?

New heroes and balance changes arrive roughly every two weeks with each update. Big Awakenings and collab heroes tend to shake up the rankings the most, so check back after every major patch.
