To excel in the different game modes, you will need to create specialized teams consisting of different types of characters. Apart from rarity, characters also come in different elements and roles. Each role is important to understand if you want to create the best teams in Lost Sword. A healthy mix of all types of characters proves to be much more beneficial in the long run. Lost Sword character roles are as follows:
- Wizard – Wizards in Lost Sword are amazing magical damage dealers that make use of high-octane spells to dish out damage. These agents of arcane chaos deal damage primarily through their skills, and not basic attacks. Being able to amplify their own damage and inflict crowd-control effects are just some of their specialities.
- Knight – The Knight class of characters are the sturdy damage absorbers in teams. A good team in Lost Sword generally has at least 1 Knight character mixed into the composition. They can inflict Taunts, eat up damage by being in the front, and provide helpful sustenance buffs to all allies.
- Healer – The mystical healers form the core of any Lost Sword team. These fairy-like beings have the ability to heal allies, and provide multiple protective buffs on top of them. Some healers can even revive fallen allies, making them indispensable in certain scenarios.
- Archer – Archers have the highest DPS (Damage per second) out of all character roles in Lost Sword. These nimble warriors generally have high basic attack damage, attack speed, and multiple damage skills. Many archers are capable of dealing lethal damage, both single-target and AOE. A strong Lost Sword team must contain at least 1 or 2 Archers.
Factors Affecting Lost Sword Tier List Rankings
While constructing our Lost Sword tier list, we took into account some core factors that helped us decide the character rankings. These factors were as follows:
- Base Rarity – In Lost Sword, there are different rarities of characters. Each character is assigned a base rarity from the likes of R, SR, and SSR. The higher the base rarity of the character, the better suit of stats and abilities they are likely to possess.
- Community Rankings – This Lost Sword tier list was formed with references from the different community rankings present in the different social media platforms of the game. We primarily took inspiration from the official Lost Sword Discord server, where other players posted their own rankings.
