EA FC 27 FUT Gallery: Complete Guide to Sets, Grades, Tags & Rewards

The FC 27 FUT Gallery is the biggest new feature coming to Ultimate Team this year. It’s a permanent trophy room for your club: every Player Item you earn gets slotted into themed Sets, graded for a score, and turned into rewards, even after you’ve sold it.

EA confirmed the Gallery in its official FUT Deep Dive on August 2, 2026. This guide covers everything confirmed so far, in plain language: how Sets and grading work, what Tags do, how Holographic Items fit in, and exactly when you’ll get to use it.

Note: The numbers below come from EA’s pre-launch preview build, so a few details (exact Set counts, the full Tag list) could shift slightly by launch. We’ve flagged anything unconfirmed as we go.

  • Feature: FUT Gallery
  • Game Mode: Football Ultimate Team (FUT)
  • What It Is: A new 3D space for viewing and showcasing your FUT collection
  • Main Purpose: Collect, view, and display FUT items and sets
  • Gallery Type: Interactive 3D hub
  • Categories: 9 categories revealed before launch
  • Sets: 76 sets revealed before launch
  • Collection: Includes FUT players, cards, and other collectible items
  • Progress: Lets players keep track of their collection and completed sets
  • Replaces: FUT Collection Book
  • Supported Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2
  • Availability: Included as part of FUT in EA Sports FC 27

The FUT Gallery in FC 27 is a permanent record of every Player Item that’s ever passed through your club. You organize Items into themed Sets, grade each completed Set for a score, and build up an overall Gallery Level, a second progression track that runs alongside your actual squad. EA built it as a real reward loop:

  • Grade a Set –  earn cosmetics, Gallery Tokens, and other rewards
  • Raise your Gallery Level – unlock milestone rewards, including shots at rare Holographic Items
  • Keep improving graded Sets all season long as better cards come in

It solves a problem every FUT player knows well: duplicate Golds and cards you’ve moved on from used to be dead weight. Now they can still count for something.

You fill Set “slots” with Player Items, and the game tracks what’s eligible automatically.

Counts toward your Gallery:

  • Items from Packs
  • Items bought on the Transfer Market
  • Objective and SBC reward Items
  • Items you’ve already sold
  • Items you’ve submitted into an SBC

Doesn’t count:

  • Loan Items

Special case: Evolution Items are represented by their original base version, the card as it was before you evolved it, not the upgraded result.

The key detail: selling a card or feeding it into an SBC does not remove it from your Gallery. Once an Item has been yours, it keeps contributing. You can fill Sets manually, or use the autocomplete option to let the game fill open slots for you.

Sets are grouped into Categories by theme. In the pre-launch build EA showed, there were 9 Categories and 76 Sets in total, including:

CategoryWhat It Groups
LeaguesItems from a specific league (e.g., LALIGA, Bundesliga)
NationsItems from a specific country
ClubsItems from a specific club
RaritiesItems grouped by card rarity
CampaignsItems tied to a specific Campaign or promo
CustomSets you build yourself around your favorite players

Slot counts vary by Set type. The League Sets EA showed mirrored a starting XI; an 11/11 Bundesliga Set was used as the example, while broader Club and Nation Sets have appeared with more slots. Custom Sets carry no scoring pressure; they’re just a space to show off cards that matter to you.

Once you complete a Set, you can grade it based on the Items you have collected. Your final grade is calculated using two parts:

  • Base Grade: The individual scores of all Items in the Set added together.
  • Bonus Grade: Extra points earned from Tags that match the Set.
  • Total Score: Your Base Grade and Bonus Grade combined determine the final score.
  • Letter Grade: Your final score gives the Set a letter grade, ranging from D to S.

Example: 11-Card LALIGA Set

Grade ComponentScore
Base Grade37,730
Bonus Grade11,205
Total Score48,935
Final GradeB

Can You Improve Your Grade?

Yes. Sets do not lock once you grade them.

  • Return to a Set at any time during the season.
  • Replace existing Items with higher-scoring ones.
  • Add better Campaign Items, Heroes, ICONs, Holographics, and other eligible Items.
  • Regrade the Set to try for a higher score and better letter grade.
Can You Improve Your Grade?

Every card scores based on its overall rating (OVR) and rarity. Higher OVR and rarer cards score more. Here’s what’s confirmed so far:

ItemScore
Silver Item35
75 OVR Gold90
76 OVR Gold100
77 OVR Gold120
78 OVR Gold140
79 OVR Gold160
87 OVR Special (TOTW)6,000
89 OVR Special (TOTW)7,000
91 OVR Special (TOTW)23,750

Two things worth knowing:

  1. EA hasn’t published a full score table for every OVR and rarity; this is what’s been confirmed in examples so far.
  2. Special Items score massively higher than base Golds. A single 91-rated TOTW card outscores well over 100 base Gold Items combined. Holographic versions score even higher than a standard special, though EA hasn’t confirmed an exact figure yet.

Tags are bonus conditions that push a Set’s score beyond what the cards alone are worth. Meet a Tag’s requirement, and you get a percentage added to your Base Grade.

EA has shown seven Tags so far:

  • First Owner
  • TOTW
  • Same League
  • Golden
  • Different Nation
  • Different Club
  • Same Nation

Only one Tag has a fully published scale, OTW:

TOTW Items in SetBonus
3 – 4 items4%
5 – 9 items6%
10+ items12%

This means grading well isn’t only about packing the highest-rated cards; it’s also about which cards fit together. A Set with strong Tag coverage can out-score a Set with slightly higher-rated cards but no Tags met.

The Gallery pays out in two ways:

1. Grading a Set. Every graded Set earns cosmetics, Gallery Tokens, and other rewards on the spot. Higher grades unlock better rewards.

2. Gallery Level. Every Set you grade adds to an overall Gallery Level. Leveling up unlocks milestone rewards, including chances at Holographic Items.

Gallery Token Store. Spend Gallery Tokens here on Kits, Badges, and a new class of historical Items called Hall of FUT. EA says more details on Hall of FUT are coming closer to launch. The Token Store is set to rotate and add new rewards through the season, so it’s worth checking back rather than spending everything the moment you earn it.

The Gallery Hub is the new main Ultimate Team environment, a 3D space where your Items, favorite Sets, and Club identity are shown around you instead of buried in menus.

  • Items appear as actual 3D objects in the space
  • The room visually reflects your progress: expect mostly Bronze, Silver, and Gold early in the season, with Campaign Items, ICONs, Heroes, and Holographics showing up as you progress
  • Platform limit: the 3D Gallery Hub only runs on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. On PS4, Xbox One, and the original Switch, you still get the full Gallery system, just without the 3D room.

Holographic Items are a rarer version of special cards, brand new to FC 27. The player and their in-match stats stay identical; only the rarity and the card’s look change.

TypeLook
Regular HolographicStandard animated foil effect
Pristine HolographicMore premium finish; the player’s name appears under the portrait in a stylized font

Key details:

  • Each eligible Player Item only ever gets one Holographic version, Regular or Pristine, never both. There’s no pair to collect.
  • Holographic Items score higher toward a Set’s grade than the standard version of the same card.
  • How to get one: they can drop from Packs whenever the standard version of that special is available, and Gallery Level milestones also carry a chance at one. Once you own one, use it in your squad, display it, or sell it on the Transfer Market like any other card.

If you played older FIFA or FC titles, this isn’t the same as the Collection Book.

ProgressionNone, just a checklistGallery Level with milestone rewards
RewardsMinimalGallery Tokens + Token Store + milestone rewards
Visual spaceNone3D Gallery Hub
RegradingNot applicableYes, Sets stay open all season

In short: the Collection Book was passive. The Gallery is a system you keep coming back to.

  1. Don’t panic over selling cards. Sold Items still count, so you’re not losing Gallery value either way, but checking what a Set needs before you sell helps you plan around Tags like Same Club or Same Nation.
  2. Use autocomplete for quick wins, then optimize by hand. Let autocomplete finish easy Sets fast, then manually swap cards into Sets where Tags matter.
  3. Chase Tags before chasing OVR. A handful of well-matched lower-rated cards can hit a Tag threshold (like TOTW’s 10+ item tier) for a bigger score jump than one higher-rated card alone.
  4. Revisit graded Sets all season. Regrading is free value; every time you pack a better card that fits an old Set, go back and improve it.
  5. Check the Gallery Token Store often. Since it rotates through the season, saving tokens too long could mean missing limited rewards like early Hall of FUT items.

The FUT Gallery is available when EA Sports FC 27 launches. There is no separate release date for the feature.

  • Early Access: September 18, 2026, for Ultimate and Ultimate Plus editions
  • Worldwide Release: September 25, 2026
  • FUT Gallery Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2
  • Full 3D Gallery Hub: Only available on these platforms
  • PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch: The full 3D Gallery Hub is not available on these platforms.

Other New FUT 27 Features Worth Knowing

The Gallery is the headline feature, but Ultimate Team is getting several connected changes:

  • Streamlined SBCs: submit Items for a target score instead of solving Chemistry and position puzzles, with partial progress allowed
  • Evolution Pathways: some Evolutions now branch into multiple upgrade choices instead of one fixed path
  • Evolution Chain Preview: see how one Evolution leads into the next before you commit
  • Campaign Hub: one place to see live Objectives, SBCs, Evolutions, Gallery Sets, and Live Events
  • Single Player Live Events: themed events against AI opponents, built for offline players
  • End of Match Rewards: a chunk of weekly rewards now pays out immediately after each match instead of only at week’s end
