Storyline:

The player character, a resident of the city of Cierzo, is shipwrecked at the beginning of the game off the shore of their hometown. They had previously inherited a debt from their ancestors known as a Blood Price, which had to be repaid on a regular basis. All members of a certain family are affected by a Blood Price, and the expedition was intended to settle it. The frantic townspeople allow them only five days to pay off this debt and save the family possessions, despite the fact that they are now impoverished and narrowly survived the fatal wreck.
