Step into the realm of grand strategy and mythic battles with Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Warden & The Paunch, a compelling downloadable expansion pack that enriches the already vast world of Total War: WARHAMMER II. Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA, this expansion brings to life the rich lore of Warhammer in the celebrated gameplay format of the Total War series.

The Warden & The Paunch pits two new factions against each other in an epic saga of vengeance and glory. On one side, the High Elves of Yvresse, led by the stoic Eltharion the Grim, stand ready to defend their kingdom with a combination of formidable infantry, majestic beast units, and the magical prowess of the Arcane Phoenixes. Their roster includes the swift High Elven Rangers, the stalwart Silverin Guard, and the ferocious War Lions, complemented by three unique Regiments of Renown. Eltharion himself enhances his troops with improved melee defense among Spear Infantry and Rangers, making his army a formidable force on the battlefield.

Opposing them are the brutal forces of the Greenskins' Broken Axe tribe, commanded by the notorious Grom the Paunch. Sworn enemies of Eltharion and the High Elves, the Greenskins bring a new level of savagery to the fray with River and Stone Trolls, the ramshackle Snotling Pump Wagons, and the fearsome Giant River Troll Hag. Grom the Paunch bolsters his troops with additional physical resistance and reduced upkeep for his pump wagons and exhibits enhanced leadership skills when facing the High Elves.
